We we're nervous about staying here because of some of the past reviews, decided to give it a try after hearing about the renovations that were being done, etc, and so glad we did. The room is really clean and comfy, got the suite with hot tube bath and it still needs a little bit of extras, but all in all the stay is great and we will definitely be staying again in the future. Oh, and I had a small dog with me, which they had no problems with and didn't stick us in one of those dirty rooms you get put in when traveling with a pet. Very friendly staff. **** real review from a well-rested traveler****
Lynn at the front counter was very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate me and my beloved dog sparky. The room was extremely clean as well thanks to the excellent cleaning staff here, when they say quality inn, they mean it from all the amenities to the complete remodel of the whole place to the breakfast home made waffles, coffee, hot cocoa, tea, fruit, cereal, muffins, bagels you name it. I'll definitely be coming back here and highly recommend this place to any one,. prices are extremely fair as well and they allow pets, numerous channels, fridge microwave comfy pillows it's all great. Great place, five stars.
The rooms were nice and the beds were comfy. It is located within walking distance of everything which was nice. The floors needed a good cleaning and the AC was a little loud but overall a great place to stay. Thanks to the lady running the office that helped us jump start our truck the morning we were to leave out. That was very kind of you. If you are visiting the area and looking for a budget friendly decent place to stay, I highly recommend booking with them.
I'm going to start my review simple and with the basics, but I'll end it with an urgent warning you must be aware of. So to start, the room was incredibly clean and pretty spacious. Hair dryer, mini fridge/freezer, microwave - all the little things you need. Breakfast was disappointing. DIY waffles, bagels, apples. We went and purchased breakfast instead. Parking is free and we never had trouble finding a spot. Ok, the warning is next. Unlike most hotels, the water pressure in the shower is INCREDIBLE. At first inspection, you'll find three options for temperature - 1. Elsa, Ice Palace For One 2. Luke warm, still chilly 3. Summer home in Mordor Once you have finessed the handle enough to find the perfect temp, do not -- DO NOT accidentally bump the handle because you will be hit, NAY -- PELTED with liquid lava fresh from the depths of hell itself. Don't worry, I survived. Would stay again!
Well...not the best, not the worst. The property is undergoing renovations. We had to get 2Q instead of 1K, which isn't necessarily an issue, but the beds were horrendous. One mattress was a little better than the other, but both were way beyond their use. Other than that, the room was clean and somewhat updated, and the a/c worked well. The receptionist who checked us in was very pleasant, too. The location is perfect for walking to the main Alpine Helen area shops & dining.
