Quality Inn Huntersville near Lake Norman

The room was clean. Employee was very polite and friendly. My family and I didn't sleep very well. We could hear footsteps from the room above us. At breakfast, the biscuits were brickets, and the coffee was out. How can you let coffee run dry. The shower was yet to be desired. Although we were dry, warm, and alive. They could use some love.

Upon arrival noticed that the property looked very rundown- garbage lying about the ground, no grass cut or trees trimmed. Where is property maintenance? Place looked rough. Check-in was very easy and the staff were friendly. I noticed that the elevator hadn’t been inspected in over a year. Hallway carpet very dirty. Room was ok, but had to ask for extra towels and supplies. Bathtub fixture is broken. Carpet in the room was very dirty. Bed was much too soft for comfort and definitely needs a new mattress. Noise from the interstate was not conducive to a good night sleep. Kids running around, yelling and stomping in the room next-door all week. Did not receive any housekeeping all week. Breakfast was a highlight. The place looked really good online but unfortunately we will not be staying there again, which is a shame. Need to put a little money into the place and some TLC.

The staff and room was great. Bed was comfortable. The down side to it was there was no privacy, and it’s like the place was bugged honestly. Would not waste your money. Very stressful environment. Will not get relaxation, so you don’t get what you pay for. Also think they let people in your room when you’re not aware. Don’t stay here. It’s a terrible experience.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The hotel is run-down, the staff is rude, and the manager cares nothing about his customers. I had a confirmed reservation and when I went to check in, they didn't have a room for me. I've been in this situation before (overbooked) at other hotels, and the manager of the hotel arranged for accommodations in a nearby hotel. Not this manager. He told me (over the phone, because he wasn't on-site) that he would not help me at all in finding alternate lodging. I've filed a complaint with their corporate office. Do not stay here unless you enjoy a dilapidated building, nasty staff interactions, and absolutely 0% customer service. I dodged a bullet by not staying there.

I work very hard and at the end of the day all I want is a hot shower or bath…. This place don’t have either!!! It’s so annoying that I have to pay for a room and have to leave to go to planet fitness for a hot shower!!!! If you enjoy hot showers this is not the place !!! It’s like they didn’t pay they water bill💁🏽‍♂️
