Quality Inn & Suites

Mr Lawrence took very good care of my wife and I. This is the best Quality Inn I've stayed at and I've been to a lot of Choice hotels. With a gift shop and salon downstairs. This was a new one for me. My Wife loves the amenities and outside the box thinking.

The room was bought for 215 after lunchtime the day of my stay and online. Total was 249 all said and done which I thought was a good price for a king bed suite having 2 wing back cloth chairs, desk with excellent office rolling chair, table and chairs for 2, microwave, sink and small refrigerator. My problem was there was only 1 regular coffee pack for individual small paper cups and left with 1 decaf the same. This will not do for one guest much lest 2 in the room, so we had to get more at the breakfast bar, which also was lacking much variety of food choices. Back to the room....there were only 2 regular size bath towels for two guests. Soap and conditioner dispensers were nice to have located in the shoer with good water pressure.

Rooms clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly, waffles yummy, location good, pool clean and refreshing. Reasonable prices. Will definitely come back. The only downside was extremely humid; my clothes got damp. We were there a week so got a room dehumidifier, solved the comfort issue.

Ample parking, especially for Gold + Members. Easy and very pleasant check in with Mr Lawerence. He was so professional and courteous from start to finish. The elevators were fast our entire stay. Our floor and room smelled very clean and appeared very clean. What I thought was so cool was they had a spa there and a cultural store on the main floor. The lobby was clean, as well as breakfast area. My only complaint would be the breakfast. No hot foods and even then, I've never been to a hotel that didn't have at least muffins/pastries/bagels, so the breakfast was very simple (waffles, yogurt, 2 varieties of plain cereal, bread for toast + oatmeal packets). The gal who was managing the area was very nice and did a great job keeping the area clean and stocked. I think I'm just used to every other hotel in the Choice chain's type breakfast (understandably with variations) and maybe I haven't really stayed at many Quality Inns. Aside from that, the area is conveniently located by food and stores and right off the main road which was a plus for us.

All you can ask for in North Myrtle. Best Quality Inn I've stayed at. All are pretty good for the price. This one is exceptional. They also make it worthwhile for being rewards members. At some hotels, it doesn't matter.
