Quality Inn & Suites Ocean City Fenwick

The rooms are very old and the property has not been maintained well. Our AC unit was smoking so they kindly agreed to move us to a new room. The two comforters in the new room had blood stains so we were given new ones. One of the elevators was out so it looks about 10 minutes to get our stuff upstairs. But the staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly decent. And the location is great. The owners should invest more in basic maintenance and upkeep.

Location! Location! Location! It takes just a couple of minutes to walk to the beach. Our room had a nice view of the ocean from the balcony. Rooms were clean. The efficiency we rented had a full fridge, stove, and a microwave. Made most of our meals there. With some planning, you can save a lot by cooking. There are several good seafood places within a couple of blocks. Staff are friendly, kind, and helpful.

Great location, wonderful staff, comfy beds! This is a hotel on the beach, salt air wears hotels down. No big deal. You cannot beat the pool, bar, and super close proximity to The beach. The staff deserves a bonus, they are super nice, always smiling and hard working. The rooms are spacious and nicely air conditioned. I would totally go here again’

This was listed as handicap accessible. All doorways were uneven, I was traveling with my 93 year old Aunt who was in a wheel chair and I needed to lift the wheels to get over the doorways. (entrance way, elevators, rooms) Bathroom doorway was small. There didn't seem to be a staff area and the staff seemed to be sitting all over. In the loby, designated smoking area, in the breakfast area during breakfast. I won't be staying here again.

We booked this hotel because it’s close to family. We also liked the set up with the pool and tiki bar in close proximity- we have kids so set up is convenient, but don’t ever stay here. This place is disgusting. I can’t believe I actually made it 3 nights. The rooms are horrid! First the smell of the room is so gross. Carpets are disgusting, furniture is dirty, rooms stink so bad, and the bathroom is god awful. I swear the bathroom is straight out of the 80s - drop ceiling that’s moldy, gross tub that clogs, and moldy floor yuck!!! The little couch in our room, I won’t even let my kids sit on it, one of my kids tried to open the pull out bed and there was a dirty sock and crumbs!!! Do NOT stay here! Also it’s run by a bunch of teenagers, which might explain why this place is so dirty, I haven’t seen a real adult all weekend. We chose this place over the brand new Hilton (which was also less expensive) because of the bar and pool here- bad decision. The pool is crappy and the pool deck is super rough, my kids all cut their feet. There was also a blockage on deck so water was pooling and flooding out to our room. There has been a burning smell in the building since we got here. It’s like an electrical fire smell that we reported and others have as well. It’s mainly on the elevator… come to think of it, this place should be burned to the ground to start over. I will say the service at the bar was very good.
