Two stars is me being nice. Actually, I would’ve given a 5 star solely for the Bible book in my room that’s the only good thing came out of the stay. Otherwise, I would’ve rated a zero. I dk how the reviews say 4.2 people must have no expectations odd because I’m low maintenance but not when it’s smells like cigarettes in the level one hallway and everything else I’ll mention. As we entered the room the carpet floor was wet. It doesn’t seem like the room was ready for our arrival. Another reason I wouldn’t stay there again. The walls are incredibly thin—I could hear children running in the hallways late at night (9–11 PM). Even worse, the room had a connecting door to the neighboring room, making privacy nonexistent. I was repeatedly woken up during the night by noises I’d rather not hear, especially while feeding my baby as my husband tried to sleep. The worst issue was the presence of a black cat on the property. I have severe cat allergies, and this cat lingered at the entryway throughout my week-long stay. It’s baffling that the staff hasn’t addressed this. The location is okay but underwhelming. While centrally located for the places we wanted to visit, it’s still a 1.5-hour drive to Nashville Airport and 2.5 hours to Knoxville. Breakfast was not pleasing. The coffee and water tasted poorly like mixed in with toilet drain. We booked here because of the price, but between the noise, lack of privacy, food and allergy concerns, I cannot recommend staying here.

I would have given this place 3 stars because despite its dated and worn interior, it’s clean and the staff are nice. However, we paid for a queen suite only to discover that the a/c didn’t work. They offered to let us move to a regular room, but we needed the extra sitting room in the suite. Hoping it would cool off during the night, we declined. Then the TV wouldn’t come on. Those are basic amenities you should expect in ANY hotel or motel. The carpets are worn, torn and stained and decor is outdated. However, it’s the non-working basics that aren’t acceptable.

Very clean. Comfortable beds, great pillows !! We were a late check in, reception was fast and nice. Yes, there is a deposit. No big deal. Semi truck parking, and an all-night waffle house close by.

Room was very dirty. Toothpaste on floor in the bathroom and all over the chair in the room. Drywall dust and spider web under sink bathroom. Breakfast was cold and no power to heat up food in the microwave. Staff acted it was no big deal.

Very good hotel at excellent price, great location, service by staff was excellent and very friendly too, clean areas, breakfast was tasty and replenished promptly. Rooms had comfy beds, good ac unit, had a great experience by everyone around being first time at this state as I was traveling and used this as rest area and explore surroundings.
