When I booked, I mentioned that mobility issues were involved. I wanted a room with a separate seating area. When my daughter booked us in, she found our room was on the second floor. She informed the desk I couldn't climb stairs. They found us a room on the1st floor that was better than I booked (it hadn't come up as available when I booked) without charging the extra and close to the breakfast area and outside door. It was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable and had a small kitchen which made lunch preparation easy. Our only disappointment was the breakfast as the hot meal didn't look as if it was cooked well (things were not browned). However, the rest of the offerings were fine. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit our family up this way.

For the price it is amazing. Great breakfast buffet. Buildings are older but kept clean. We have snow storm overnight in the parking lots and walkways were maintained by early early morning. The staff is absolutely amazing they're very nice and very helpful.

I should have read the reviews before staying! The comment about horrible smell and bad air for kids is spot on. It is made clear that you will get charged handsomely if you smoke in the hotel (we're not smokers) but the hotel hasn't had smoke remediation since it allowed smoking in the 70s or 80s or so. As soon as we entered the building with the rooms (not the check-in office), the wet dank smoke smell in the foyer and hallway was overpowering. Our room was just as bad. We had a 3 night stay. There were no other rooms available in the region on this holiday weekend, we were stuck. We left the hotel each morning about 7:30a and didn't return back until after 10p each evening, to avoid exposure to the horrible air. By the last night we thought it had cleared. Our son ended up with respiratory issues and is still struggling two days later. My wife and I have lingering headaches. When we unzipped our bags after returning home we realized the air hadn't cleared at the hotel, we had just gotten used to it. The smell coming from the clothes in our suitcase was horrible. The only reason this hotel got two stars from me is the service. The ladies taking care of the rooms and the continental breakfast were very kind, considerate, and helpful. As far as the structure, it is unhealthy and will cause breathing issues. I don't like to disparage any business. But this place is unhealthy for breathing.

Good cheap spot that puts their efforts where it matters. -Fine, though quite firm mattresses -Good sheets, many layers -Just enough room to set up a laptop and do some end of day reporting work or whatever on the desk. Only a single chair, so hard to share a meal. -Plenty of supplies in the washroom -Wide space around the toilet (important for handicapped) -Basic cable, need to get behind the TV to hook up HDMI -Refrigerator doesn't make too much noise -Soundproofing tolerable -Outside neighbor is a tool rental company and can be noisy -Breakfast above average for a 2 star hotel. Hot eggs and sausages, waffle maker, plenty of other choices, and all good enough quality. -Temperatures controlled directly via the wall unit -Surprisingly good fart fan I like this place. It's cheap, but it gets the job done better than other cheap places.

The hotel was not what I expected. First, the room was clean. Looks better on the pictures. It was ok for one night. From the exterior, it's not that great. The building is not well maintained, needs love I think. The reception building is not super great either. It's ok for one night but not much. The smell in the pool room wasn't great. I understand that it is not the hotel that I normally stay at, I got what we paid for. The breakfast 🥞 was correct, not a lot of choices but correct point. I recommend this hotel for one night maximum if you travel and need a night to relax and rest. Not for a full vacation. Depends on your budget also. We chose this place because it was a quick trip and not for vacation. Overall, I recommend this place because the room was clean and it's the most important.
