LGBTQ+ friendly
Service desk was friendly, breakfast was plentiful and fantastic. Room STUNK!! Old cigarette smell, all our items we carried in smell like that room now. There isn't an elevator, so if you're not able to climb stairs.
Staff was rude. Gave me one deposit price over the phone (100) then another deposit price in person (200) the rooms were low budget, carpet seemed wet at all times not sure why, but the bottom of my daughters feet were filthy. The slide door to patio was so impossible to open, the shower was clogged up, could barley take a shower, there was trash like water bottles and chip bags when I first got the room assuming no one cleaned properly. Then while checking out, the cleaning crew complained about the sheets saying we left a stain on it & kept half of the deposit to support their raggedy business & (replace the sheets) refused to let me come and see the stain for myself. For the price I paid to stay here I could have went somewhere wayyyyyyyyyyyy better.
We checked in on Tuesday November 26th around 1:30. The lady checking us in was not friendly AT ALL. I tried to get her name buy her long dark curly hair was covering her name tag. The pictures of the hotel DO NOT match what you actually get. The rooms were extremely dated and just felt dirty. Our shower leaked so there was the sound of constant water dripping and when you took a shower the tub filled up due to what I'm assuming was a clog. There was a sign that said Housekeeping Available Upon Request. We were supposed to be there 3 days, but ended up leaving early when we realized someone entered our room without being asked. We assumed it was housekeeping since we had new towels but they never made the bed so why come into our room without our request. It all just felt very sketchy.
This Quality Inn deserves a 4.5 star rating! Several reasons: 1. location - near I-10 high way; 2. price is so good for the value; 3. very good breakfast go above and beyond its value; 4. very friendly crew members and their services.
