The kind gentleman at the Jose deserved the five stars! He checked us in with a huge smile and every contact with him was above and beyond. Had a couple issues that he fixed quickly, efficiently and with the best smile! Almost wanted to take him home. I don’t want to take away from his service, so this review will be just for him. Thanks friend!

I'm on a road trip from home in Los Angeles to Vancouver BC. I booked this hotel for an accessible room at least 2 months ago. After driving up from LA, we go to check in and find out they don't have an accessible room. I then asked if there was a regular room and a shower chair. They didn't have a shower chair either. While being professional, the desk clerk really gave me the sense that they didn't really care about my circumstance, out of town without a place to say. There was no empathy or apparent understanding about the difficulty I was facing. There was no effort to compensate me or to even find another accommodation for the night. I was on my own. The attitude was fairly indifferent and kind of "oh well". At least they cancelled the room and I didn't have to pay. But as a Choice Hotel Gold member, I find this whole thing unacceptable. Thankfully the Holiday Inn next door had a room. This is a poor way to run a hospitality business. I'm annoyed, frustrated and disappointed with Choice and this particular Quality Inn. I know it's not a high end hotel but I have received excellent customer service and care from other Choices properties. Really unacceptable.

You get what you pay for. We arrived late and were given a room in disgusting condition. The floors were dirty, bed was haphazardly put together, and it was obvious the linens hadn’t been changed. After a long trip, we just asked for fresh linens and dealt with it. The breakfast was disappointing. I’m not expecting anything luxurious, but the bread was stale and the waffle mix was off. The staff was friendly enough though. We didn’t have any issues at check in.

The best part about the whole hotel was the man running the front desk named Edgar extremely friendly and helpful kudos to that. The rooms are really clean. Now the down side what to expect a very small TV that you need reading glasses to watch TV, spectacular views out your window and I didn't know they made faucets that look like this this is got to be a joke you can wash your hands but you're banging them off of the back of the sink.
