It’s one of the few hotels available during peak season at the last minute. Breakfast was not bad in a more updated dining area. However the Room was very dated and very musty smelling. The bathroom did not have good ventilation and likely had hidden mold. We couldn’t wait to leave that place.
Front desk very helpful The room was clean, not super large but plenty big enough for small family. Location is right off the main street a little East so you can walk down to main Street. Pool and spa. Breakfast pretty underwhelming.
Front door didn't close all the way without forcing it shut and locking the other 2 locks, top lock latch was loose and screws were falling off so we only had one reliable lock! The carpet was sticky and it made our feet slimy so we had to wear shoes the whole time... the bathroom door didn't close at all! Door didn't fit in the frame. The toilet had piss stains running down all sides when we got there as well as the food at the breakfast was expired the yogurt was expired on the 14th of February so yesterday and they told us that it's still good to eat and refused to put out unexpired food. Would never recommend this place to anyone overpriced and trash stay.
The room's air quality was poor, causing us to feel ill. We also found the cleanliness unacceptable, with hairs in the towels and on the carpet. Furthermore, the infant crib provided was dirty. These issues significantly impacted our stay and raised concerns about the hotel's hygiene standards. Try to stay in Oakhurst instead. Not recommending Mariposa
What are buildings made of here in America?! That was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel of any sort. We can hear EVERYTHING. The people upstairs, or animals I should say, made the whole room shake with every step. We could hear everyone turn on the faucet or taking a shower. The walls are so thin, you can go through them with just a little momentum. A tent has more insulation. The bathroom doesn’t have MVS. The door to the bathroom didn’t close or lock. You have to put something in front to keep it shut. The tv turned on by itself during the night (remote was on the table). Breakfast was a joke. A homeless shelter has better food.
