We had to stop here on an emergency due to car issues because it’s right off the highway. We checked in and went to our room. We immediately noticed the stained on the comforter and I’d called the front desk for a new one. He brought me a newer one but this one also has stains. I’d asked for another one but he replied that this one is clean. But it smelled like curry and was slept in. So disrespectful and ignorant. So I just took it and threw them both into the jacuzzi tub. Yes, there was one in our room. There was black mold in the corner. We cranked the heat and slept under the sheets. In the morning we tried the breakfast. There was sausage and potatoes hash browns but no eggs. The potatoes weren’t cooked through. There was no fruits. So we grabbed the fruit cups but realized that they were expired. Good thing this was an emergency. We will not stay here ever again. We’re choice members and this is very disappointing.
Anything but Quality. We booked a room ahead of time because we would be arriving pretty late; around midnight. We went in for check in and the lobby was so dimly lit, I thought the place was closed. It took 20 minutes for someone to finally come up to the front desk to help us, but to be fair, he was the only one there and clearly a new hire. The employee was pretty helpful, but that's where the positives end. He told us our room number and we went up to the second floor to head in, get comfortable, and go to bed. However, the room we walked in to was clearly not suitable for habitation. It looked like it was in the middle of being renovated. The bathroom ceiling was ripped out, toilet was not hooked up, there was no TV, bed sheets were nowhere to be found, and the mini fridge door was on one of the beds. We brought these issues up with the man at the front desk and he offered to put us in a different room. We thought our troubles were over. He led us down the horribly stained hall to a new room with a dead roach at the door of the room across from us. We mentioned the roach to him and he shrugged it off like it wasn't a big deal. It was still there when we left the next day. The room itself was disgusting. The first thing we noticed was the mold on the bathtub and on the ceiling above the bathtub. No chance we were showering in there. The pull out couch was the next issue we ran into. The mattress was so thin and lumpy and clearly dirty. There were also no extra sheets, so we used the sheets from one of the beds. The white sheet had a giant yellow stain on it. I didn't trust the sheets or pillows, so I used my own pillow and blanket. We opened up the curtains for a little bit of light in the room and they were coated in mildew. I fell asleep fearing bed bugs and black mold spores blowing around the room from the a/c. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR ANYONE NO MATTER THE COST. NO HUMAN BEING SHOULD HAVE TO PAY TO SLEEP IN A MOLDY, DIRTY, BUG-INFESTED ROOM.
I dont leave bad reviews ; it's only suggestions unless it just comes down to poor attitudes and a lack of respect. Let me say that the employees here are very kind and helpful. They tried to go above and beyond with what little resources they had and lack of staff. The hotel needs a total renovation. The mold smell in the rooms with smelly carpet and paint chipping with cracks in the walls does not fall on employees. I went out back, and the hill behind the hotel was sliding into the building. One of the workers would not even let us stay in the room we got cause of mold in the room and in the refrigerator. This all falls on the owners' or corporate neglect. Shame on you to want people in here working and taking the blunt of peoples reactions. U need more staff in here to help the others out and take responsibility for the upkeep of ur hotel. Cause in my honest oppion, if u can't upgrade, then shut it down. Im an over the road trucker, and it was ok for that, but would i bring my family here and stay on vacation? Absolutely not. I really hope to see this place change. It has the potential. As far as clean beds and great people that work here, shout out to them.
I had called several months prior to reserve a room and when I got there our room wouldn't lock from the outside, there was water running down the inside of the window, the curtains had nasty brown water spots on them and there were cob webs on the ceiling. I told front desk about the door and she was gonna put us in a different room but didn't have any clean " at 4pm in the afternoon " she was gonna go clean it along with two others but we sat and waited while she checked others in, but no clean room for us. I finally asked for a refund and went across the street. This place was a dump and the staff was very lazy and didn't seem to care about helping us at all and I drove over 6 hours to put up with that treatment. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and I definitely wouldn't let my dog sleep there either.
I was there over the week with my family which includes my 3 small children over the weekend when we first walked in there was a strong smell of bleach from the pool that about knocks you down then the wall paper was peeling off the wall from previous rains happening is what we were told also mold smell coming from our room dirty bed sheets as well. All of this was ok but what was not ok is the next day my wife and I took the kids to swim in the pool I stepped outside to smoke where the outside patio area was 4 plastic chairs which even this was ok but standing outside I witnessed a boy that worked there with his hat on backwards white tee shirt and jeans on walk up to a black Kia soul and stand there he took something from her and he exchanged money to her now from what I can only assume this is, is a drug deal going right down in front of me about a hour later I went back to the outside patio smoking area and I saw the same guy in beside the dumpsters area with the door wide open with a big garbage container holding the door open smoking meth from a pipe I yelled at him that my kids where there and I would be calling the police I walked in to tell my wife I was calling the police the guy that is a employee there had hurried up and left with in 10 minutes of me saying this to him on a motorcycle he looked me in the eyes as he was leaving and proceeded to give me the middle finger I did call the police but he was already gone so they said they would look for him but I doubt they found him the next day was Sunday and of course the manager was not there and I did not see this man anymore probably because we left by 7am and the earliest I had seen him before was 10 am if a hotel is gonna allow their employees smoke meth on the job untelling what else they let go on
