Customer Reviews
The staff were exceptional! The location is good. WiFi was not great but worked. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars ( 4.5 is what I’d like to give) is I reserve that for concrete slabs. Once again, the staff was great to work with. Just very nice people. Loved the Halloween decorations!
Just spent a long weekend here after not having been to this campground in 9 years and it’s amazing and even better than before. We discover the huge walking trails on property we somehow never knew about great for dogs and people. Site 71 is great thanks for putting us there Cindy. Bathrooms are immaculate. We use to go with our dog Ella this was our dog Lexies first time there and she loves it as much as Ella did we will definitely be returning and as my wife Sara said in a past review it’s always a great day at the Quechee KOA 100% recommend
5-star experience all around! Great communication before and during our stay. RV site was clean, accommodating and pretty. In person experience was friendly, helpful and informative. Facilities were clean well groomed, convenient, secure, all in a pleasant setting. Everything you need to camp your RV for any length of time to access the surrounding towns and attractions.
If you are looking for a clean quiet camp this is a place to be. It's well maintained with good people except one. The only reason for giving 2 stars is a young staff member called Jordon who ruined our stay because of his disrespect and foul behaviour. He was probably racist with the language and gestures he made. It's supposed to be pet friendly camp but unfortunately our cabin was next to a grumpy couple living in a trailer with a sad dog. They were related to Jordon or a part of the staff. The lady was mean and rude, her husband was quiet. They complained about our over friendly dog being off leash at the beginning of our stay as she was excited and kept running off to say hi to the neighbours. After the first complaint we respectfully/diligently kept her leashed as we understand and were sorry if we inconvenienced anyone. But the language and disrespect we received was uncalled for and shocking while our dog was leashed! Our kids were appalled with the way Jordon spoke. We are members of KOA and go camping every year since many years and we have never encountered such bad treatment. We will never go back there.
We had such a great stay here in one of the pull thru sites. The size of the campground isn’t massive, which allows it to have a nice feel to it. The sites are spaced out decent enough without feeling on top of each other. The dog park wasn’t too bad either. Plenty of room to run around and full of shade during the heat of the day. The camp store was nice and it had some small things that you might need in a pinch. One of the great things we liked about it was the gift basket you could purchase. It had some great items from local farms like cheeses and syrups. It was so good we had to go visit the farm where they were made. The playground was a good size too and my kiddos had a blast playing on it. The place they visited the most was small fishing pond where they could catch frogs and crawfish 🦞 Overall it’s a great spot and we’d definitely come back again.
A good place to stay. The bathrooms were mostly clean and were private. The floors were a bit dirty and no paper towels for the two days we visited. Most of the holiday-style amenities were unused as the season has perhaps not kicked off yet. We mistakenly chose a pull-in rather than a pull-through site. We asked the attendant if we could change and he came back and told us no pull-throughs were available. However, we noticed two that stayed vacant both nights we were there. So that raised questions in our minds. Maybe those people canceled, either way, they did not seem to want to bother with us. So we had to disconnect and leave our car dolly down the hill and hook back up in the rain the day of departure. Not the end of the world for sure but most KOAs go out of their way to assist and certainly it also means we would have paid more for the spots that sat empty. Overall more of a journey than a holiday vibe.
Very well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our site was spacious and private. The pool is cold but clean.
Great campground, clean, full hook up sites. In a great location, there’s a lot to do and a lot of places to hike if you’re into that within just a few minutes of the campground. We will 100% be back!
Been camping since 2011 and this campground had the cleanest bathrooms and showers! Not one bug or piece of hair! Counters were dry! Great place!!!
Our favorite campground. Great facilities, wonderful, friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more!
