Queen Lily Campground offers a tranquil escape into nature, situated amidst the breathtaking landscapes of California. Ideal for both campers and RV enthusiasts, this campground provides a perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Surrounded by stunning natural scenery, including the impressive Lassen area, Queen Lily is a haven for outdoor lovers.
Customer feedback highlights both the strengths and areas for improvement. Many guests praise the well-maintained restrooms and the campground's peaceful atmosphere, especially during their stay from September 17th, 2024. However, some note that the absence of potable water during their visit was a drawback, suggesting there could be opportunities to offer discounts in such situations.
While some visitors found the campsites slightly too close together, leading to occasional smoke from neighboring fires, others were content with the experience. The campground store was under renovation during a recent visit, so it's advisable to plan accordingly if essential items are needed.
Queen Lily Campground is an excellent choice for those seeking a mix of nature and comfort in California. With its prime location near Lassen Volcanic National Park and a variety of outdoor activities, it’s a great base for exploring the region's natural beauty. Just remember to check the weather forecast, as the area's altitude can lead to cold nights.

Was nice & quiet the weekend we were there. (9/17/24) Love that we could hear water and walk 25 ft down to enjoy it. Happily surprised to find flush toilets & sinks. No potable water while we were there, so would have been nice to have a discount off the $35/night charge which seems pretty expensive in comparison to similar campgrounds. Overall, would definitely go there again and just hope the water issue is fixed and it is still as peaceful.
I liked this place. The scenery around Lassen is impressive! But... The time we went the camp store was closed and under renovation (fortunately I didn't forget anything major and was only there one night.) Also, IMHO the camp spaces are a little too close together and there are too many in one spot so when everyone lit a fire at night it was pretty smoky. Still... Completely fine for just one day, ymmv. The restrooms were well maintained, so thx to the park staff for making sure about that. PLENTY of trails around the camp or an easy drive away. Don't miss the reflection lake trail. It's across the main road from the camp site and only half a mile, but has some great views. Also, look at the weather / temp forecast. It's at altitude and can get pretty cold at night.
This area was just burnt by the 2021 #DixieFire, so all the campgrounds on CARIBOU ROAD are closed to the public for a year or more. Kinda pricey for High Voltage campground. Although the river will lull you to sleep, the EMF are powerful inside this Sierra Canyon. Power lines run above all three campgrounds in this area.
Queen Lily Campground is one of the cleanest, most well maintained campgrounds I have ever camped at. The bathrooms were spotless and even smelled good. The hosts, Rocky and Patti, although an older couple were attentive and helpful. They were very professional and obviously enjoyed what they do. I already have reservations for next year. Rocky and Patti, thank you for a great camping experience.
Lovely area, but $25 per night is silly when some of the sites have no trees in sight. Selling firewood at $7 a bundle is more than supermarkets charge; especially when it's soft wood that's gone in an hour. Superb private spots available at no charge above the second single lane bridge.
