A great place to spend the evening or weekend to relax and unwind! We really enjoy sitting on the swings and watching the trains go by or sitting down by the river and catching some fish. The showers are also a great new addition!

We have really enjoyed our visits to the Quiet Valley Campground! The cleanliness, beauty, and availability of campsites has been amazing. The river is just deep enough to swim with the children, and the showers to clean up afterwards are super nice...Waking up in the night to see our daughter standing in the moonlight, watching trains through the tent window...Plenty of camp fire wood... It fits our schedule, just a phone call, and our once-a-summer camping trip is a done deal...

A refreshingly secluded natural place to come escape life's pressures and craziness. Unwind down by the river- with only trees, water, mountains and sky in view - enveloped in the early morning mist. Take a star-studded stroll to the train tracks and be thrilled by freight-blasts of air. Take a few hours to process life on the swings, gazing into a mesmerizing fire, overhung with string lights. Where better to refresh your perspective of life, it's importance, it's meaning, than here, removed from pressures? Has men and women's bathrooms, extremely well kept and clean. No showers. Ability to access the river with kayaks or canoes. No boat access. Train goes often, but does not blow for the private crossing right at the campground.

Nice campground Picnic tables, fire rings, hydrant. Nice restroom. Located between Juniata river and railroad tracks. We were only there 2 hrs, and we saw various boats and trains.
