Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Restrooms and showers were not fancy but decent enough. We were able to get ice from the hotel next door and use the swimming pool. Price was great for just needing an overnight stay along the interstate.
All I can say that's positive about this rundown campground is that it had pull-through sites and an easy-to-find location. That's all I can say. Looked for Good Sam campgrounds in our Campground book, saw this one that advertised a pool..none, cable...nope, you have to set up an account and rent a "box" with $100 refundable deposit but it was too late for us, playground..a couple swings, showers, laundry...nope, neither one...Definitely would NOT stay here again.
Never stayed but have called anyone here staying thru winter would be better off going to rondees. This place is not a good deal was told no laundry .no showers.no water in winter .and 900 for a room at hotel in winter for winter full timers I can rent a trailer for that .and rondees open with electric .good wifi .fiffty dollars less a month plus heated shower/bathrooms .and a laundry room cheaper than the laundromat would not recommend this place 😑
We have stayed here before, but the place is going down hill, still in the acceptable range. Restrooms need a lot of work, no exhaust fan. Done was wide open this morning. We will stay again, maybe, price is right, but we may use our own showers
We were traveling the holiday weekend, and our other campsite reservation fell through. We were scrambling to find a place to stay, and despite the late hour, the owner was responsive and got us squared away. We were so thankful that we were able to find a spot at the last minute.
