Such an adorable place. The staff here are really kind. Like a small tight community, everyone seems to know everyone and if they don't know each other, they still talk as if they do. Pool is really clean, well kept. Cabins are small, but hey it's better than laying down on the ground. We'll come back.

Shhh, it's a secret. Best kept secret for sure. I love R-Ranch. The office folks are so nice! Great events and good people all around. There's a lot of deer, rabbit, and turkey running around. My doggie loves deer watching the most!

I had a blast at the ranch! The pool was refreshing on a hot day. The restrooms were very clean. The cabin I stayed in was perfect as It had power for my CPAP machine and a bathroom for my night time visits. I'll definitely come back!

Quite a unique getaway from the city. There are separate cabins rather than the typical multi-unit hotels. The furnishings were rustic, which matched the whole ambiance of a countryside farm. The unit we were in had 2 rooms, one with a Queen and the other with a bunk bed. I would say the place could accommodate 5 adults and 2 children if 3 people don't mind using the couch and futon in the living room. Immediately outside the sundeck is a chicken coupe. Just be forewarned that the rooster will wake you up early in the morning. If you have difficulty disconnecting from the grid, at the very least they have electricity, running water, and Wi-Fi, but there was no cell service at all. (The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting every minute or so—no exaggeration.) There is a small convenience store to buy snacks and drinks, or if you accidentally left some items at home. I was impressed by the pool that was just a few steps away from our cabin. It was very well maintained—sparkling, clear water, and many floaty toys for kids to play with. The activity I enjoyed the most was the horseback riding. The guide, Nolan, was super friendly, and taught us many facts about horses that I had previously thought were true. One such example is that horses don't sleep standing up; they actually sleep laying on the ground for only 2 hours at a time while the other horses are keeping watch. It just so happened that they were hosting the "Rednek Olympiks". It looked like a lot of fun for families with young children. Out of all the cabins available at the ranch, I believe we had the best one, because it was so centrally-located to everything. One last thing, I heard that it is mainly the previous guest's responsibility to clean the place for the next guest. The replenishing of toilet paper and clean towels is provided by the owner, though.

Been an owner/member since 2007. Great for kids. Best way to have regular access to horses without owning one. You'll have part ownership of a whole herd! Ride every weekend but don't worry about boarding, ferrier, vet, daily exercise, etc!

We LOVE the R-Ranch!! It’s a safe, family friendly environment with “So” many things for the kids and the adults to do!! The cabins have ceiling fans in them now so they have more airflow at night for those hot summer nights. The only things that were bothersome were the speeding golf cars along the roads!! The owners should consider speed bump installation (especially on the downhill decent) to ensure more safety for the kids playing everywhere!! Great place all around!
