No actual complaints, just know cabin 7 (6) does not have a mini fridge, or microwave, which isn't stated on the site. However I will say, Jackie, the camp host, and the owner went out of their way to help. When you stay here you feel like family. We met a lot of cool people, and we love the community fire pits by the water. Kind of forces campers to gather, and meet. Had a very 6th grade camp kind of vibe. Plus the location is right at a wide, shallow spot in the river perfect for swimming. Fishing is amazing if you stay in the shadow areas, and the general store sells amazing hand tied flies. The walk to the restaurant, ice cream parlor, general store, and saloon is less than 2 minutes. Amazing spot, that we will be going back to again, and again. Go visit Jackie the camp host, she's a fun conversation if you get bored.
Peaceful small campground with cabins! This place is just perfect in so many ways. I would recommend to all my friends IRL and online. The river runs right next to the campground. It is small and safe, children can definitely play and have a great time. Pet friendly all the way around. The campsites are good size to kick back and relax. They have full hookups plus a dump station.
We stayed here last weekend, it was the most amazing trip! The ambiance of the place was perfect. Our rv was parked on the side of the river, we had the best spot in the house for sure! We had a huge fire pit at our spot. There are also on site bathrooms and showers. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special spot or weekend get away! Jackie, your are such a wonderlful person, thank you for making our experience there the best ever! We can't wait to come back again, thank you for all the great recommendations on places to go while we stayed there! We saw salmon in the river, got to go to the towns annual Pumpkin roll festival.
We just came back from a weekend on that campground .it is really small but peaceful and you cant get closer to the river than there .we were sitting by the water all day and enjoyed it even saw a beaver. We booked already another stay .Jackie is really nice and helpful .the only thing we missed was a sewer but there is a dumpstation you dont have to pay for .we cant wait to go back 😚
This is more of a place to be rented for short term living rather than actual camping. It is a great location for someone with a tight budget who would like to live right on the river in either a travel trailer of which they own or in one of the small cabins that are available to be rented. The electric and garbage are included in the rent at 400 dollars bi weekly for an rv/trailer space. I believe the cost for the cabins runs a bit higher at 5 or 6 hundred bi weekly. There are two full sized large bathrooms available to all tenants, as well as a nice, fully functional washer/dryer set. It's rather muddy there with all the rain fall, it would greatly improve the overall property by adding peagravel to the driveway and parking areas.
