Racoon River Campground was a great place to stay. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Full hook ups worked perfectly. Staff was maintaining the grounds everyday. It was convenient to everything and very shady with the big tall trees to keep the sun out. I highly recommend if you dont have to have the concrete and fancy plants.
My husband and I have been staying at raccoon River for the last six years or so we always come in August and stay for about 2 1/2 weeks. The staff are friendly and courteous campground is peaceful well shaded and well-maintained bathrooms shower facilities pools are all kept super clean Pet, friendly and all in all great place to stay Plus, it’s a very quick walk to the public beach
We have stayed here for the past 3 years and have enjoyed our stays. The grounds are kept clean, and those guys do a great job and are very helpful.
We love Raccoon River. Have been using this campground for 18 years. However, it has declined a little over the years. The staff at the camp store is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms could use a little attention as only 2 out of 5 showers in the men's bathroom worked! Although reserving months ahead to get a good location, we were still placed on the back side of the pond next to a dumpster.
We have been coming here now for the past 6 years. It's a little Paradise in the middle of PCB. The staff in the office are the nicest ladies and it's super close to the beach, 5 minute walk. it's worth every penny and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
