Construction still going on at the hotel, so it was a bit unlit as far as signage goes, and weird entrances, but i am sure it will be monumental once they get the lobby all completed. They serve No Continental Breakfast, but I could PURCHASE "what is behind the glass counter", it seems they could have considered at least that for free, since they were not doing anything for breakfast for guests, or vouchers of some kind. Blueberry Muffin and a juice for 4.00$ Room was pretty decent.
The staff was great. My wife and I stay here when traveling. They offer great car storage rates and shuttle to PVD airport. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is that the location has been under construction for at least 2 years and requires guests to walk through alternate entrance with large sections of the lobby closed.
Used the location as “parking” only, based on reviews of 4-5 stars I chose the Radisson over other options because of the 24 hour shuttle and I knew my flight home was getting in around midnight. My flight connecting home was delayed so I called the hotel to let them know and I wanted to make sure I’d have a shuttle. I was assured by the Radisson employee at the front desk that I would be picked up. Needless to say I called the hotel 5 times with no one answering the phone - 5 times - after midnight …..I finally sourced an UBER on my own to bring me directly to my car. I was tempted to go in and lodge a complaint but honestly I just wanted to go home and most likely whoever I complained to really wouldn’t care. Some things to note: 1) you have to park in the far back of the hotel lot and beware of winter months because the lot was icy and dangerous. 2) there’s construction so you can’t just drop off your luggage *remember the icy parking lot I mentioned? 3) they don’t drop you off by airline, it’s in the middle then you figure it Pros: it’s only 5 minutes from airport and easy to find.
I recently stayed at the Radisson and was extremely disappointed with my experience. First, the hotel is undergoing major construction, which is not mentioned at all when booking. This was a huge surprise upon arrival, and the hotel was difficult to navigate with confusing parking especially at night. Once inside, the hallways had a terrible odor, and although the rooms seemed to be in the process of renovation (the bathrooms were nice), it didn’t make up for the rest of the issues. After a long flight, my group (all adults) arrived exhausted at midnight, only to encounter more frustration. Within 20 minutes of being in our room—after just unpacking and one person taking a shower—the front desk was at our door. He told us that a guest below had complained about us walking, even though we were in no way loud. We were asked to take our shoes off and walk around in socks to avoid bothering her, which was an unreasonable and crazy request, especially when we were just trying to get settled. Instead of handling the situation professionally or offering any accommodations for our inconvenience, the staff offered to move us to another room to please a single complaining guest. It felt unfair and left a very bad taste in my mouth. No attempt was made by him to make things right, and the whole experience was frustrating. Oh and they had a surprise fire alarm we had to vacate the building for. I will never stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
Just stayed at this hotel. What a nightmare…WARNING, do not stay here. Hotel is under construction (and has been for a LONG while) and is a mess. If there were 0 stars that’s what you would have gotten. The overnight staff member was beyond rude, words can’t explain how we were treated. There was a sign on the makeshift front desk stating “be back in a bit”. I finally called the hotel from the lobby because we wanted to take the shuttle to the airport and the overnight person came out and was of NO help and this seems like a pattern because the same person is mentioned and pictured in other reviews. As a hotel how can you allow behavior like this from an employee. Hotels are all about the experience, but this employee and hotel don’t care about that. The one bright spot was the shuttle driver to the hotel. Management at this hotel you should be ashamed of the conditions and the staff. If you’re reading this, you e been warned. There are plenty of options in the area. Management my stay was 12/25/24. I will be reaching out for a refund, and an apology.
