We had a nice time spent at this campsite. Unfortunately, we realized that it was winter for a lot of places here and had our expectations pretty high seeing the pool and all the activities cater to young children. If it was summer it would be so much fun but obviously not a lot of people camp during the winter period so hence why some activities are closed for the season. The playground was a really good one! Our kids pretty spend the whole 5 hours playing at the play ground.

Very nice campground with SO many amenities for the kids. They were never bored, and that is saying something. With multiple playgrounds, full basketball court, mini golf, disc golf course, jump pads, and plenty of room to ride scooters and bicycles, they were never without entertainment. We visited in the winter, so did not get to enjoy the waterpark and pool, but plan to return in warmer months to try them out. Office staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable trip!

Disappointed to say the least. Guess it is my fault for not doing more research. It’s been 4 years since we’ve been here. Had another baby and it’s a 4 hour drive. We were SO excited to come back. Their New Year’s Eve use to be AMAZING. So much to do. This year all they have is their basic activities they do every Friday-Sunday. Tie dye and a craft. They said it was too wet (morning dew) to do their “warrior obstacle course”. Staff is friendly even tho I was clearly annoyed. I can’t blame them. The place is completely dead. I love the old school nature vibe that you don’t get at many new resorts. But to go from what I posted on the second photo to absolutely nothing, really sucks. Oh. But they got a new playground (which I will add is really nice). We won’t travel this far again, makes sense why the park is dead. Owners really drove this place down. It’s sad.

We took our children here when they were little and thought it would be the perfect place to escape Hurricane Milton. The staff excelled from booking to check-in. Unfortunately, the area was hit by Hurricane Helene the week prior and they had a lot of recovery still left. THANKFUL they had availability for my entire group! We were safe, the playground was perfect for the kids and we will definitely visit again during the season.

We pulled in at 9pm and left at 6:30am. We were told to call the number on the packet they left for us for coming in late to get an escort to our spot. Called twice. It rings once then voicemail picks up and the box is full, can’t leave a message. Usually we can find a spot easily, except it’s pitch black out, minimal lighting provided, our spot was in the VERY back (419) and it looked like they had just got hit by hurricane Helene. There was low hanging branches and debris all over we had to dodge, on top of having to get out and walk around to find our spot. Did we find it? Yes. Was it stressful after a day of traveling? Also yes. Our spot wasn’t exactly level, which they told us about, but it was better than we anticipated. We did have a large pull through spot, but there was a stump on one side and our electrical on the other. It was pretty tight getting into, especially in the dark.
