Wonderful place to bring the family. Dog friendly, but please pick up after your pet, so our children don't step in messes when they're enjoying the outdoors. Only one bathhouse open at this time due to remodeling. Two washers and dryers on site are very convenient. Take care to watch out for poison ivy. It's everywhere, especially growing up the trunks of trees.

Simply gorgeous, the camp host was amazing and hands down one of the cleanest state parks I have ever been to. To pass this state park up would be a huge mistake. The natural beauty surrounding you will take your breath away

Loved it. Was in primitive camping. Be prepared because these sites are a bit of a walk to the bath house and parking. Great location, lake access, and campground amenities. World live to come back and RV it!

We camped at site 14 with our Class B Roadtrek for 3 days during and after the 2017 solar eclipse. That site had a perfect amount of sun light and shade for viewing with our telescope and relaxing. It also had a short flight of steps down to the lakeshore where we launched our kayak. It had a large picnic table, a fire ring/grill and a camp kitchen area. The bathrooms and showers were clean and private. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful. And the lake was beautiful and must have been quite clean as it didn't have that awful smell some freshwater lakes do.

Nice campground next to the lake. Spacious sites with nice shade trees and concrete pads for campers, some with full hookups. Also beautiful tent sites with gravel pads. Bathhouse newly remodeled and very clean.
