It's just amazing. Cabin was really clean. Jet tub felt fantastic. Beds were very comfy...View just breathtaking along with the easy access to trails that are just as beautiful as the lake and surrounding mountains. The little market had so much to fill in for a quick snack or meals... just a great experience. Thank you for the great customer service. Ian and the gentleman working Saturday morning...also friendly and helpful.

This place is amazing. Right across from the lake, with a wonderful and immersive trail system right behind it. The staff were great, Ian was beyond helpful. The room and amenities were immaculate and from the check in process to how the rooms are setup, you can tell that a great deal of care goes into everything here. The General Store is great to stock up on, and the restaurant across the way situated on the water is both classy and affordable. I had a great time here, resting up from the Penisula drive (The bed was fantastically comfortable) and exploring the many cool hikes and waterfalls in the area. Stay in Room 219 if you get the chance, it's next to a babbling brook and it makes the stay peaceful and serene!

Recently stayed for a night in a Parkside Queen Suite room, and we were so happy with our stay. My fiancée and I were celebrating our recent engagement, and the front desk staff put a bottle of Prosecco in our room with an ice bucket and two glasses at my request. It was a very sweet set up and made our stay special. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and you can really tell that they are happy to be there and happy to assist. The location could not have been more beautiful or more serene. We had an excellent view of the lake from our room, and easy access to trails and paths to walk around. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. It is perhaps a bit dated feeling, but that didn’t take away from our experience at all. Just know it isn’t a glamorous room but it well makes up for that with the stunning location! I would happily return to stay here again!

$300 for one night in one of the worst rooms we have ever stayed in. We stayed in a cabin and the *only* good thing I can say is the view is pretty. The rooms were disgusting and that’s not an exaggeration. The carpets looked like they hadn’t even been vacuumed in between stays. They were also stained and ripped really bad, we refused to walk on it without shoes on at all times. The jetted tubs they advertise are gross as well. You can see the mold in the jets as well as the shower head. They advertise having WiFi which is false. It may show you are connected but there is NO service whatsoever. The TVs only have two channels, three if you’re lucky. The beds, pillows, comforters and all of the furniture is extremely outdated. Our bedding has hair all over it upon arrival. The patio is real life arachnophobia. These spiders were EVERYWHERE and were also in our room in several places to the point we were scared to sleep and they were all in our shower so we didn’t shower. This place isn’t worth $300/night. It’s not worth $200/night. It’s an $89/night motel at best. Having a view doesn’t justify taking this amount of money from people to stay in a complete dump. We will never stay here again. The owners clearly lack integrity and don’t care about their guests whatsoever. Whatever money is made on this place, $0 is going back in to it.

We collected the keys from a very friendly man at the Post Office & store in the early evening. After unpacking, we purchased a beer from the store and sat relaxing on the chairs outside our lake view room. Then we sauntered across the road to the Salmon House for a delicious meal. The next morning we walked across the road to the giant Spruce, happening to catch a tour group there so listened to their guide's speech about the tree and area. Then we took the path up behind the Post Office and did the pleasant and easy trail past tree mosses, nurse branches, and other beautiful forest scenes to rival what we'd seen at the Hoh rainforest. It was all a great location, with spectacular scenery, and the proximity of food and drink meant we could fully relax instead of yet more driving. The elephant in the room is, of course, the very high price (222 dollars incl taxes) for a room that looks like it was from 1981, and that's without breakfast. The room and bed were smaller than any other stay this trip, and there was no fridge or microwave. I had to borrow a hairdryer from the store. My suggestion would be to remove the 2 chairs facing the window, move the sofa to the end of the bed so you could comfortably look out on a rainy day, and use the freed up wall space to place a fridge, microwave, and wall mounted hairdryer. But I've still given 5 stars because of the stunning location, proximity to interesting walks, and the convenience of the store and restaurant.
