Rainbow Lake Cabin & RV Resort

We had a wonderful stay at Rainbow Lake Cabin & RV Resort! The cabins were spotless, well-maintained, and offered a cozy retreat after a day of enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The facilities, including the communal areas, were clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and convenience for guests. The peaceful atmosphere made our getaway truly relaxing. Whether you’re looking for a cabin stay or an RV spot, Rainbow Lake is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone seeking a serene escape!

This is a fantastic, quaint, RV park. It's clean, has all the hook ups necessary, has trees, a stream and backs on to the forest. Miles of mountain bike and hiking trails are just steps away. Highly recommended and the price is right. 😊 Dog friendly too

From campers on 29, thank you for a wonderful weekend 😊. Campsite #29 is an amazing spot for rvs. Right next to the river and a grill on site where we were able to cook our dinner and our dogs dinner too! We will definitely be back soon!

We were there for 1 night, and we took our RV. It is BEAUTIFUL. It has full hookups, wifi, bathroom with shower, laundry room and picnic tables, and grills around the park. They have a pond with fish to feed (no fishing) and a creek that runs through the middle. Aside from it being beautiful. The host/owner (brandi) was super, super awesome, and helpful. She first sent a text first thing in the morning before we got there with confirmation of the reservation, passcode to wifi, and bathroom/laundry room. At the time of checkout, we had a problem with our rv slides not going back in they tried to help us as much as they could, and we weren't able to fix it. She then gave us number to 2 mechanics that could help. Luckily, one of them was able to help. She was also so kind enough to help us out for the overtime that it took for us to check out, and in case we weren't able to fix it because it was on a Sunday and wasn't sure if any of the mechanics were going to answer us. In the end, we were finally able to get home. Although it was for one night because we went to an event being held in town, we will definitely return to Ruidoso to camp out with the family, and we will be staying here. Aside from RV spaces, there are also cabins to accommodate from XL families to little essential needs cambins. There is no tent camping. Thank you, Brandi, for everything.

Brandi is the bomb dot com. I was so worried about having to change our reservation around the holidays due to a series of unfortunate events, and she went above and beyond to work with us despite the busy season and unavailability of our original cabin type. Her understanding, willingness to explain and assist, and her down-to-earth nature was refreshing in a world where so many places have lost their humanity to corporate policies and inflexibility.
