A really beautiful campground. Lots of space for many tents of many sizes or hammocks. Access to the lake to get water is neither steep nor far. 4 stars because the toilet is in the middle of multiple campsite areas and is not very private.
I found a fair bit of snow here in mid July, which made the campground in effect somewhat small. It's a short walk down the hill to the lake for water.
Amazing spot in the Backcountry of North Cascades National Park. Great through-the-trees views of the lake. Flat spots for 4 2-person tents in ONE site. Amazing.
Enjoyed our stay, even though permanent homeless people trying to chase us out. Music all night long. Making meth. Fighting with other campers. Reportyed them later.
