An older building is in need of repairs. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay. The pool area was clean, but I found the gym hours restrictive despite being sectioned off from the guest rooms (I'm an early riser). I can appreciate the pool area having set hours since it's adjacent to many of the guest rooms. Our stay was in January post holidays, so we enjoyed a quiet, almost vacant stay at the Ramada. Breakfast was awesome 👌 👏. The staff was helpful. There's also a nearby park or nature preserve. I didn't get a chance to it explore it, though. I would definitely stay here again. The place was a way better value than the overpriced hotel we were at the night before. Cleaner too. One last note. Hotel staff work hard for modest pay. There's no reason to make their job harder by leaving the room in disarray.
Had the pleasure of spending the weekend there and found that the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The view in the parking lot was totally amazing, overlooking the valley below. The room was clean , and comfortable. The breakfast was on fire. Scrambling lots of real sausages, along with other breakfast. Items like cereal if you wanted something lighter. Dress warm for breakfast in the winter time because it is a bit chilly due to the large dining room Which was surrounded in glass, opening up the room to the woods nearby. Did not use the hot tube or the pool. Saw kids enjoying the pool and they look quite pleased. Family friendly and again the staff friendly, and the lobby was a great hang out, fireplace and always warm!
The staff goes out of their way to make sure your have a great stay. I had some items shipped to the hotel in advance of arriving, and they were very accommodating. Easy check in. Always friendly. All around good people making sure you’re taken care of. The hotel is partially renovated. When I’ve stayed in the past, I’ve had newer rooms, this stay was an older room, but still clean and totally fine.
I genuinely don't even want to talk about this place. The water in the hot tub was GREEN and smelled awful. The police showed up at 2 in the morning and pulled some guy out up the hall. When I went down for breakfast an hour after it started there was no food, and they weren't making food until an older gentleman complained to staff. This should all just be basic but yeah it's not. Room was nice though and staff were friendly, just certain things need to change severely.
Do not be deceived with the pictures on their website. The room we were given was definitely not the same as the renovated images they show. The reality we were given was a woefully out of date room with an old shower featuring a non functional fan and bent shower rod. The room itself had many burns and stains on the chairs, curtains, carpets. Also, if you're above 6ft tall, the hallways and bathroom were really claustrophobic. The price wasn't super high, but I came in expecting the renovated rooms they proudly display, and received far less. On a positive note, the bed was clean.
