Ramada by Wyndham Santa Barbara

Seems like a waste when the hotel is 90-95% empty, that they put you in a room on the parking lot side, instead of a room overlooking the beautiful pond with ducks and wonderful pool area. Why wouldn't you give people the best room possible, so they either stay longer, write really good reviews, or recommend you more highly. Just because you don't use the hotel's website shouldn't be a negative to giving you the best possible accommodation when there are any available rooms but certainly when the hotel is anything ABOVE 30% empty... Otherwise, decent rooms, decent breakfast, decent parking, service at front desk other than aforementioned suggestion was very nice...

I don't usually give five star reviews. However, The Ramada by Wyndham Santa Barbara gets one based on doing an excellent job of being a motel. All of the staff that I came in contact with were cheerful, and very helpful. They all seem to enjoy their jobs. The room we had was very nice, updated, and most of all clean. The grounds and facility are clean and well cared for. I would definitely stay at this motel again.

The view from the street isn't showing this property's charm. The rooms were clean and spacious. The location is decent since you can walk to a couple of places to eat. There's more if you're willing to walk more or drive a bit. The staff really make the place great. They were all pleasant and willing to help someone new to the area. They explained the food options and mentioned that they had agreements with several eating establishments for discounted food. There was also a pool, hot tub, and garden area. (Double check on the hot tub if that is a draw because my memory fails me sometimes)

What a delight surprise! Beautiful garden with lily pond, pool, hot tub. Comfortable bed, nice shower with grab bar and continental breakfast. We will definitely be back. So close to our relatives’ houses.

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable beds, clean rooms and friendly staff. Also very affordable. We will definitely be back and recommend you try this hotel. You won’t be disappointed.
