Ramada by Wyndham Sarasota Waterfront

Rooms are old. Beds need replaced. Super stiff. Definitely needs remodeled for this price. Rooms are not the cleanest in corners and grout. People that work here are really nice. Especially Bruce at breakfast. He’s the one that made it a 5 star

Don’t be fooled by the pictures. This hotel is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. Although I am aware there are renovations going on because of the hurricane but the hotel is in disarray. Despite the look, my review is based on the service. We came here for two nights and extended three times solely based on the service provided. All of the employees seem like they enjoy their jobs as they always have a smile on their faces. From the ladies at the front desk, helping us with extending our stay to the maintenance crew we had to have in our room more than once to the cleaning ladies for housekeeping. Everyone was willing to go above and beyond and help us with our needs and requests (we had quite a few because of our very active 3 year old and our 3 month old). The best of the best and cream of the crop was definitely BRUCE and MIRIAM at the breakfast lounge. They always greeted me and my family with friendly faces and picked up on little detailed of our stay to make our conversation and experience a little bit more personal. It was a delight seeing Bruce’s friendly demeanor and great attitude at whatever time I saw him and Miriam was always helpful with the breakfast options and was very personable. I would definitely come back here for the service (and of course the price). Thank you Bruce and Miriam and the rest of the Ramada staff for your friendly and warm hospitality.

I had a great stay! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. However, the highlight of my experience was the breakfast buffet. Bruce and Miriam, who were in charge of the buffet, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking to see if guests needed anything. Their warm smiles and helpful nature truly made my mornings better. If you're looking for a cozy place to stay with exceptional service, especially at breakfast, I highly recommend. A big thank you to Bruce and Miriam for making my visit unforgettable!

Loved our stay at the Ramada! We were greeted with a flute of champagne, which is customary on Friday and Saturday nights. I have NEVER had that before! Restaurant was fabulous and fun. The breakfast room was clean and well stocked-shout out to Miriam and Bruce for being so welcoming!! Will definitely be back.

From the front desk staff to the cleaning crew, everyone was so friendly and accommodating! Bruce and Miriam are such friendly faces in the morning at the free hot breakfast! The view is beautiful, room was clean and comfortable, location is perfect and I would definitely retire to stay here. One down side was the food price and quality at the hotels tiki bar restaurant. Wasn’t a fan but the atmosphere was fun.
