My family and I stayed in the barebones cabin for two days. It is such a nice place. The bathrooms are the nicest campground restrooms I've ever seen. The employees here are so friendly and helpful. The playground equipment was everywhere, well maintained and very much appreciated by our child. We were a little too early for the Halloween path, but got to see a preview of how they go all out!! Would be cool to actually see it when it's ready. We really hope to have another opportunity to stay here and even a longer stay next time.

I have read a lot of the older reviews, and if you have as well hope you read this one to the end. I was there as a extended stay for almost 3 months, would have been longer, and my family and I all wish it could have been longer. Apparently in the last 3 years there has been a change of managers, and Mr. Dan is awesome, we had issues with a campsite we were on and Mr. Dan moved us as soon as he could. The staff that work there were all very friendly and helpful. My son had his best 13 year old summer there, playing in the pool, playing with other kids, for him it was awesome. There was nothing we didn't like. Summer months they have bands that come in and play Saturday nights, Family movie nights on Friday with free popcorn. They have ice cream and shaved ice on the weekends, a cafe with good pizza there. Only thing i would possibly complain about would be the fact that you have to pay for the foods right then and not charged to campsite, which I don't mind anyway because I think it could get too confusing, to do that with a campground that size. Mr. Dan is always trying to upgrade the campground. All in all I would say it is very nice. Off the main road, mostly wooded, most sites are under old growth oak trees, and pine trees, lots of wildlife (squirrels ), quiet. But I can not impress on you the amount of friendliness of the staff there and how well they treated us. If we ever go back to Maryland, we will be going back to Ramblin' Pines. LOVE THIS PLACE

Very nicely maintained RV park with trees throughout. Sites are gravel and level. They have plenty of activities for kids and the family as well as a dock and catch and release fishing pond. They have soft serve and packaged ice cream in their well stocked camp store. Everyone was friendly and nice and they are upgrading and adding new playground equipment. I slept very well at night as it was super quiet and my dog enjoyed their two dog parks. The only negative I found was the five mile an hour speed limit was not enforced and it seemed that most of those speeding were long-term campers from the back of the RV park.

Ramblin' Pines is not a good campsite. I have camped at Tent Site 19 twice in the last two years. In my opinion, Ramblin' Pines is not a good place for tent camping. If you go tent camping to experience, peace and quiet, nature and to enjoy dark nights, campfires and the stars, this is not a place to experience these types of things. Ramblin' Pines is a nice and fun place to take your kids. There are a couple of playgrounds, a huge jumper pad, a pool, goats, mini-golf and a gold sluce. All of that is lots of fun for little ones. During the day, there is plenty to do. On the weekends, they have entertainment like arts and crafts and concerts. It's all good. My main gripe is that MOST of the "campers" are long-term residents. There nothing wrong with that life style. However, long-term residents turn a campground into a tightly packed neighborhood. The peace and quiet, star-lit nights, are over taken by people watching huge, big-screen tvs in their front yards, blaring stereos, and blazing-bright decorative lights. IN PARTICULAR at Tent Site 19. Avoid this site. The decorative lighting from D28 will be flooding your campground all night. I have no idea why people need to have those lights on all night, but they will. I asked the staff to request these residents turn these off at night to no avail. These residents were there last year too, so I wouldn't expect any changes. The tent sites are very close together. Men can't pee in the bushes, like in a camping situation. The neighboring campsites will have a direct line of site of you and your camp from three sides. In summary, avoid Tent Site 19. If you are seeking a tent camping experience, avoid Ramblin' Pines. It isn't all bad. They have really nice amenities. If that is what you are seeking and don't care of about a camping experience, or if you are seeking a place to retire in your motorhome, this is a nice place.

This is an amazing campground! The staff are very friendly, the amenities are new and clean, and the pads were level! The bonus was getting to attend Church Sunday morning at the campsite! A+ experience all around. We even booked 2 more trips while we were there!

This campground is amazing, one of the best managed and well run we have ever been at. The grounds and gardens are well kept, my grandkids love the many playgrounds and visiting the goats. The weekly live music on Saturday nights is a nice way to end the day. The camp store is well stocked and the soft serve ice cream is delicious. Every time we have a question or need assistance, the office staff or the campground manager is quick to help. I could not recommend this campground enough, we've always had an amazing experience.

Ramblin Pines has been our favorite campsite for the last few years. They have made wonderful improvements from all new kids & adult play areas, updated the cabins, manicured the sites, added food service (the pizza rocks), Ice cream stand, rebuilt the Putt-putt golf, Even have some incredible wood carvings all over. There's live bands most Saturday nights in the summer and events all through the weekend. we've camped up and down the east coast and this one feels the most family friendly and safe for all ages. There's just a fun social buzz all over. Oh and the 2 dog parks are great!!!

Wasn't sure what to expect, but we arrived and checked in and staff was extremely helpful since this is our first time. Nice hilly, rustic campground. Very quiet and family and dog friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We camp here at least 2 times a season! Facilities are spotless, staff is beyond friendly, they also plan amazing activities! The camp store, the game room and everything in between is amazing. They have recently updated ALL of the playgrounds and the putt putt course is kept in top notch shape! Pricing is reasonable and best of all, privately owned! Add this one to your list! You will NOT be disappointed at all! Tons of seating at the pool area and don't forget to get a fresh snowball from the snack shack! Been coming to camp at the Ramblin Pines for many years. The team that runs the campground has made many fantastic physical improvements and continues improvements to foster a family feel for all. It's sad and quite telling that some just don't understand the freedom of being in the woods with friends, family, and the many travelled acquaintances we meet. They seek privilege and scream "triggered" at everyone they might not agree and miss out on the best part of such a diversity coming together to share the summers year after year.. Dan, Erica, and the whole family behind the scenes at Ramblin pines, I just want to say thank you and most importantly keep up the great work!
