We have stayed here several times & have rented 5 different lots. All are owned by individuals, and every one of these lots has been disappointing. Each lot has propane appliances (BBQ’s, fire pits, hot water heaters, plumbing, etc.). These all require maintenance, and in most cases either did not work, or did not work properly. Our current site has evidence of dog hair on all chairs (some stink so bad I wouldn’t sit there). The BBQ igniter did not work, but it did burn all the hair off my right hand. So, I got it to flame. The outdoor fireplace was leaking propane and drained the tank, so it doesn’t work. While you have to spend a $80 cleaning fee (which we have no problem paying if it’s clean) the place was so dirty my wife spent several hours cleaning the surfaces. Dirt, dust, leaves, cobwebs, pet hair, this place looks as though no one has been here for years. Most of these sites are really cool. But, I have yet to experience one in the rental pool that is maintained properly.

I was discriminated against because my RV was too small. They turned me away, stating they don't accept trailers smaller than 30 feet. My 10-year-old son was devastated as he had been excited about their five pools. I wouldn't recommend this RV resort to anyone, even those with larger RVs. If they can pick and choose which RVers they cater to and exclude others based on size, they don’t deserve my business or referrals. Just as they pick and choose, I can choose to take my business elsewhere and not refer anyone to them.

While other places are building pickleball courts trying to meet the demand, we have our own private pickleball courts that are ready to be played on! People wave when you walk or drive by. The pools are well maintained. The activities are top-notch and meet the social needs of the extroverts. Outside of when there's an activity going on, it's very quiet and secluded, which provides peace and quiet. I love daily trash pick-up, thoughtful neighbors, the scenic beauty, and the "on vacation" attitude. The golf course is challenging but transports you to what looks like "paradise" as you maneuver through the 14 holes. The last four holes, to complete the 18-hole course, are repeated from a different teeing area within holes 1 - 4. Brilliant!

The RV site that we rented came with a Casita and my opinion pricey and with the feral cat problem, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The cats get in get in the trash, go to the bathroom on your furniture. It’s disgusting. We rented from Tawny Tran and they are not giving us our deposit. My husband is very allergic to cats and was having health issues from the cats

This place is a hell hole. The buildings and facilities are outdated to the 70's and haven't been kept up since then. There is a store that has very little to buy and a restaurant that is over priced. The dues are exorbitant to pay for cutting grass and swimming pools. The staff is composed of people who are friends and family and live in the Aguanga area that keep a tight control on the only source of income for them out there. Not sure if owners even know they are paying to be enslaved through corporate governance administered by people with no interest other than to parasite a salary off the homeowner dues. Resident owners are leaving and making income off this place as well. Foreigners are buying as income property. Special preferences run rampant in terms of who gets access, who gets to rent, who gets to work, who gets to make rental income. This place is filled with old people who are angry and dying and that is the energy this place exudes. Death to any sort of peace or freedom or courtesy or culture one would expect to find at a so called Resort. No reason to visit here they really don't want you. The people who do rent are people who own to rent and do not care what type of experience you have. Once again its all about how they can get your money. Beware- if you want to experience the lack of culture in Aguanga that is what you will get and that is nothing but dirt.
