Nice place to camp or use the day use area. They have security that drives around. They have guys that drive around in carts that will get ice or other items you might need. Check-in is at 2:00 pm. Day use people have to leave by 6:00 pm.
Over all it’s a nice place if you don’t mind people and when I say people I mean people who don’t fallow the etiquette rules the parks makes you sign when you check in. We would here people blaring their music during the day and loud conversation and music after the posted quiet time. The tent sites are nice with table, fire pit, and a water faucet not too far away. The bathrooms were further away but the one I did frequent was kept in good condition. The swimming area is not bad, it’s a nice beach entry area that’s roped off and the water is not freezing so that works for me. The rest of the lake was nice for canoeing or kayaking.
We had a nice evening here. The beach and store was closed. Plenty of room to roam around and get some quiet time. There were barely anyone here on our Friday visit around noon. Highly recommend visiting to get away from the busy life.
The dog park was great to let our dogs run around and play in the lake. The picnic area was really shady and clean. Very relaxing! Restrooms clean! I guess the fishing was good, there were a lot of people on the lake. It's catch and release only. My family had a great time. We will definitely be going back.
The day use area and the tent camping area have a lovely canopy of trees. Very nice beach, clear water and very clean restrooms/showers. I loved the scenery! I will definitely be back!
