Wow, such a great campground! We stayed at the ridge camp site. We had plenty of room and great views. The bath house was fantastic! Spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our two nights. The previous campers had broken the shower faucet and left food on the ground behind the bath house. The owner came up and replaced it quickly. As always we made sure the site was cleaner than we found it when we left.

The owners are both very nice. When I checked in, I was shown where the ridge camp was and how to get up there. I had the place to myself since nobody else was booked for my 2 day stay. All the 4 other sited were empty. It was so quiet and everything you need is right there. The bath house is very nice with shower and sink. Hot water was awesome. There is a outdoor tub sink for washing dishes to the side of the bath house. I had previously come from a State Park which was crowded, the water pressure was low and no hot water for the last few days I was there. So, when I got familiar with the place it was like having my own oasis to come back to in the evening and into the night. They have great tent pads and fire rings, with no burn ban which you will find in most all the Texas State Parks. I am so glad I stumbled onto this place when planning my trip.

We loved camping here! It wasn't too crowded or close together and I think all the spots were full. It is mostly tent camping but the pads/spots are set up perfectly! Plus they have just about everything you need. Showers and bathrooms are nice too. Definitely a great spot to camp if you're headed to Big Bend.

Stayed here for the CASI Chili cook off which is about a half mile away. Very well run and maintained, and super nice owners. They let me move to a different campsite when my boisterous neighbors were yaking into the wee hours. Showers and toilets are clean and well maintained. And no generators! Bring steel tent pegs as aluminum or plastic won't penetrate this ground.

This is the best camping in the area! I've been coming here for multiple years. The showers and bathrooms are amazing. The owner, Guy, is super helpful and a retired Navy Chief!
