Our stay was great! Very affordable for camping and so many amenities! I travel solo and felt extremely safe here. I would choose a different location for my camp as I have two dogs.and was in a high traffic area. It was great training for my puppy! The service was amazing - there is a crew for guest services, maintenance, site management and pool operations. They are all kind, good-hearted people who are as diverse in backgrounds as you can get. Harry and Chuck came to my rescue and helped me get my tent set up in very high winds! I feel like I’ve had friends here the whole time! This will go on my list of favorite places! Kudos!

Nice koa with good amenities. Has two clean shower/bathroom buildings, two playgrounds, a basketball court, and a pool. Decent staff that maintain the grounds, and deal with unruly visitors promptly. They have a little train the Wednesday I was there for little kids and their parents to ride around the campground. As of now, they have a new camp store and shower house under construction planned to be finished fall 2025.

We stayed her for 7 nights. It is a great campground. The showers were great. There was lots of hot water. It was very windy so we did not use the amenities. The pool was not open yet. The only downside was that when it rains the rads are very muddy. There are lots of rabbits on the property which are very enjoyable. It is a great place to stay.

We booked a cabin far in advance-November-for a June stay. Had stayed before and found it a good value. However, when we arrived on Thursday evening, the AC unit was running but it was in the high 80's in the cabin. Immediately went to the check-in and let them know. The "maintenance" guy came over, told us it was fine and said it was 65⁰ in there. In a not very congenial manner. Well, that "65⁰" is what the AC unit is set to, not the temp in the room! It had been in the upper 90's that day, no breeze, and it was stifling. He did come round a second time with a fan and let us know they would further investigate on Friday-it was almost 9pm, so we said fine. And slept outside in sleeping bags. Back to the front desk Friday morning, let them know we would be gone but they were welcome to go in and work on it. 103⁰ temps on that day. When we got back that night, still nothing done, and office was closed. Went to the front desk Saturday morning, and were told there was nothing they could do as they didn't have any HVAC employees. The easy answer, that wouldn't have required "HVAC employees" would have been to replace the unit. It is just one of those ones that goes in a window. But no. We ended up leaving a night early because it was so uncomfortable and as we were there for a softball tourney, spent each day out in the heat only to come back to lodgings that we're even hotter. The worst part was probably the complete lack of customer service-no offer of a refund or reduced rate or anything either. We will not be staying again.

The location was convenient, between Badlands NP, Wind Cave NP and 10 min from airport. Do NOT stay in deluxe cabins unless you want to be in the middle of a construction zone. The cable also doesn’t work and there is no discount for non-working. Laundry facilities clean. Office staff seemed confused and not at all customer friendly. Our deposit and KOA discount was applied to another person in our group’s bill and they would not adjust and expected us to work it out.
