It was a nice park but needs a little improvement. The manager, Grant, was very nice and helpful. A wire came loose in our air conditioner and Grant fixed it for us at no charge. We were very grateful since it was hot during the day.

Camp Host was very nice and accommodating. Laundry was reasonable priced. We had a very pleasant stay and they are doing some remodeling. Great place to stop wether for then night or for awhile. Will definitely stop again when passing through.

Mostly gravel for the pull through sites. Nice spot to spend 2 nights on our way to central Texas. Have to wonder why other campers feel it's acceptable to use the pull-though sites to cut through, we had 10 in a row wiz through this morning. If we had stepped around the front of our rig we would have been hit, no joke. I don't know how the management could discourage this practice but it would be nice if someone tried.

We did a late check in and the manager was super friendly and helpful. The camping grounds and the bathrooms are extremely clean. HOT SHOWERS AVAILABLE.

Grant saved us. We needed a couple nights right now. He was able to accommodate us. Billed us for one and held the next night until we figured out our schedule. Great park for a night or 2. We didn’t have to unhook the toad.

When I first moved to Raton I came here. It was clean and safe. (2019) Prices were great. I had high regards for the family home product they offered... Later in 2024 and 2025 I came to use their propane services. This is now...Again I have only the highest regard for their services. The prices are competitive- but the service is above royal- get your gas here!!! You won't be wrong!

We stopped here for one night on our way to Denver. Very friendly office staff. Easy, pull in sites, although a little close to neighbors. Quiet area. Best wi-fi we have found recently which was a welcome surprise. Would definitely come back!

Great little place for a stop off and they were so helpful when we needed to come in a day earlier. Easy to get in and out of, great for pets.

This is a very basic campground with few amenities (no pool, etc). However, the location is ideal for travelers passing through the area. The staff assisted us with courteous and helpful service during our call and request for a last-minute reservation. Then, when we arrived, the owner came out to greet us, share some details about the campground, and personally escort us to our site. Now THAT is exceptional service! He made sure we had no further questions before leaving us to get set up for the night. The park was quiet and peaceful. The restrooms (although older) were clean and well maintained. We felt safe and had no issues whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again if our travels brought us back to the area. Important to mention: the rates are currently based on two people, and they charge a fee (currently $3 pp in June 2024) for anything over two people. Note: this is not a hotel, so some of the review questions do not apply.
