Customer Reviews
We had been boondocking the week before and needed a place to land for the night on our way to Colorado Springs. I wanted a long hot shower and contemplated just showering in the camper because typically bathhouse facilities are usually not very clean but their bathhouse and laundry facility was immaculate!! Extremely clean and smelled good too!! Owners were super nice and very accommodating! Will stay again when we come this direction again!!
We had a lovely time here. We stayed for two days, the weather was beautiful, the staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. Showers, laundry and bathrooms were IMMACULATE! We will definitely stay again when coming through this area!
Stayed 1 night in a tent, Fri 14th June 2024. We were put on the 'tent meadow' site. The site was overlooking some glorious views, evening and morning. It could do with some maintenance on the ground work but overall was very pleasant. Traffic noise, especially larger trucks, could be heard but they didn't affect our stay. Showers were clean with plenty of hot water but there was a lack of hooks to hang anything. In fact I was hard pressed to find a hook in the toilets, wash area or open spaces. Lady who greeted us and showed us to the site was pleasant and answered any questions we had. The price was good. Would recommend for an overnight stay if travelling up or down the i25.
The Raton Pass Camp and Cafe rescued our vacation! We were pulling our 5th wheel up the I-25 grade heading to Steamboat Springs when our truck suddenly lost power. We were blessed to pull off of the highway right into the Raton Camp and Cafe. We spent three nights there, Rhonda, the owner was fantastic, she spotted us up front and helped get our truck into a local shop, she even drove us to Walmart for groceries. I don't know what we would have done without her help. The campground is situated on top of a hill with incredible views! The sites were generous, level and easy to get into. The bathhouse and laundry were great! We will definitely be back!
Wow! Definitely a place I want to visit again. The bathrooms are SPOTLESS! The prices for the washers and dryers were fair. The views though… Oh my gosh, breath taking. Highly recommend you stay at least a night!
This is our second time to stay at Raton Pass. The view is just breathtaking and the location is perfect. We needed to stay an extra day because of a really bad rain/snow/wind storm that came through the day we were to check out. The Owners understood and welcomed us to stay the extra day for our safety. The restrooms are spotless and roomy. The Owners are the nicest Host we have met in a very long time. Caring, knowledgeable and present if you need them. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your RV park. We will be back.
RV, Camping location on top of Raton Pass. Amazing views from on top of everything, drink and shower in spring water. Very friendly staff who have the utmost pride of ownership! Thank you for the great stay!!! 👌
