Services Offered

Ravine Park Campsite, while offering a unique setup, provides several key services designed to make camping convenient and enjoyable, particularly for families and those traveling with campers.

  • Designated Camping Spots: The park features specific "camp stations" where visitors can set up their tents or park their campers. These spots are uniquely arranged to encircle a central playground area, making it easy for parents to keep an eye on children while enjoying their campsite.
  • Electrical Hook-ups: A significant convenience for RV and camper users, "many of the camping spots have hardline access to electricity." This allows campers to plug in their recreational vehicles, providing power for appliances, lighting, and charging devices, enhancing comfort, especially during longer stays or in varying weather conditions.
  • Affordable Daily Rates: Visitors have noted that the daily rental rates for campsites at Ravine Park Campsite are "really inexpensive." This makes it a highly budget-friendly option for individuals and families looking for an economical way to enjoy camping and the attractions of Lake Nebagamon.
  • On-site Contact Information for Reservations: A clear note on the bathrooms provides instructions on "who to contact in order to rent a space." This direct communication method simplifies the reservation process and ensures campers know exactly how to secure their spot.
  • Bathroom Facilities: While specific details on the type of bathrooms (flush toilets, vault toilets) are not provided in the reviews, the mention of "bathrooms" with a note on them implies that facilities are available for camper use. Their presence is a key amenity for comfort and hygiene.
  • Playground Access: Each camping spot essentially surrounds the playground. This direct and immediate access to the playground is a major draw for families with small children, offering an instant entertainment solution right at their campsite.

It's important for campers to be aware that while the playground is present, reviews suggest it "is definitely an outdated park as far as the playground is concerned." However, this has not stopped visitors from enjoying it, indicating that its functionality outweighs its aesthetic age. Campers should also plan for their own water access at their specific site, as the focus of the electric hook-ups suggests RVs would be self-contained for water.

This is definitely an outdated park as far as the playground is concerned, but that didn't stop us from playing in the park. It's really nice that it's so close to Lake Nebagamon beach because we can stop by to sit on the dock and watch the ducks. You can essentially "rent" a camp station at the park, as each camping spot encircles the playground. I believe many of the camping spots have hardline access to electricity so you can bring your camper and plug in. There's a note on the bathrooms that tells you who to contact in order to rent a space, and it seemed really inexpensive for the daily rate.
