Brent at the lodge made our first South Dakota visit great! He was accommodating to my gluten sensitivity, joked with us, and made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. Because of him, we ate at the lodge for half our meals! John and Josh at the snowmobile shop were so awesome. Our group had never snowmobiled before and they were just so welcoming, funny, and willing to show us anything we needed. Each night when we dropped off the machines, they were ready to go for us at 8am the next morning. Their service couldn’t have been better! The cabin’s condition was good for what we paid. It was well used and minimal but met our needs. The location was absolutely perfect for a first-time snowmobiling group! We barely had to repeat any trails to explore 3 beautiful yet different locations. Overall, we would stay here again and highly recommend it!!
We had a group of 8 rent snowmobiles from Recreational Springs Resorts in February. Stopped at the restaurant next door for a great breakfast and even better service. The process of snowmobile rentals was smooth and quick even for a large group. Both staff members were friendly and great to work with.
We booked 2 snowmobiles for half a day fun outing. We are new to snowmobiling and wanted to try something different. Great communication prior to arriving. They had them ready to go, helped us decide the route, showed us how to use the snowmobile and gave us good gear. The gentleman helping us was enthusiastic and excited about his job. We really enjoyed it, even though it was a winter storm, but couldn’t have been happier with the group we rented from.
We went out on a family/friends snowmobile trip this winter and ended up at rec springs once every day. The food is great, the bartender was super nice and you cant beat the trail access. Highly recommend!
We had such a great time riding the snowmobiles! We rented two for a day and I don’t think we stopped the whole day! I love the memories we made together! Thank you so much to the Rec. crew! They were amazing.
