This is a great free camping area in Red Canyon. There is a dirt road (121) just past the Red Canyon arch heading East or just past a small bridge just before you get to the Arch if you are headed west on Highway 12. Once you turn off about 1/4 mile up the road you will pass a cattle guard..continuing on this you will find numerous well spaced areas for boonsocking..most have well build fire rings. Great area for hiking and biking..very quiet and the night sky is incredible.
Awesome free campsite, BLM land. The location pin is accurate. Most lots have a fire pit. Not crowded when we camped here for 1 night on 1 April 2024. Beautiful views!
Free camping. No bathrooms. It's not a campground. Blm land. Beautiful scenery, orange dirt and boulders.
Fantastic camp site with no amenities. Great stars at night and not crowded at all. The pin is accurate. Stayed here on April 14th 2024 and it was a little chilly at night. The dirt road into the camping area is fairly rough but we were able to do it in a civic.
