Red Lion Hotel Redding

The staff are professional, helpful and very nice! The rooms are nice and clean, I love the setup and accessibility with many ground level rooms having a sliding glass door you can use directly from your parking spot. It is a classy place and also great for kids with its inner courtyard offering a pool and hot tub area. Their restaraunt offers great food, and their in house bar often has good entertainment not to mention they decorate very festively! I highly recommend the Red Lion Inn on Hilltop!!

Overall a clean place, it had all amenities you need, coffe machine,mini-fridge and microwave included. The heating was a little loud but I did not have problem sleep and I was warm enough. It had pool and jacuzzi as well. Finally it had an amazing buffet. For the price and quality was a great option.

The hotel is located in a really nice convenient spot that is close to a lot of things other than that. That is the only nice thing. The staff are managed clearly by poor leadership Many maintenance problems I would not use any ice machine from there Issue after issue with room keys. Had to have it reset sometimes multiple times a day. Staff would become frustrated and be rude with this issue. Which was completely out of my control. They condescendingly would remind me to not have it close to my phone or anything that would demagnetize it. As if I didn’t understand the 10000 times the already had told me. It truly felt intentional but that I could never know. I would not ever stay here again, even if the room was comped like it was for me through my company. The staff you can tell has been there probably since they broke ground on the building. And that’s probably why they get away with their pettiness and antics that they play with guests they don’t like. Honestly, just stay out of Redding is my advice.

Very convenient location… affordable…laundry machines, also there is a big parking…breakfast os available for a very affordable price also … The Beds need some attention but overall for the price is a very good option.. 8 minutes driving to the Sundial bridge
