Such a beautiful place to spend time with family, your partner, or just alone! I grew up in the area, moved away and just started camping again in 2014. It's been the breathtaking Gorge every time. Never disappoints.

We went in June, and it is humid, so bring more water and food than you think you need. There were biting flies that did not care that you were soaked in deep woods off. The state park trails are very nice, however, there is a lot of trash. There are hundreds of miles of trails, and it is great for back country camping. Make sure you know where you are going, and what trails you need to be on. We used alltrails, and it turns out, not all of the trails on there are state park trails, they are trails the locals have mapped out. Those trails are not maintained, and if you don't know where you are going, then I wouldn't recommend going on these trails. Please keep the terrain in mind. It might be a quarter of a mile, but it will feel more like a mile. Overall, the views are amazing, and there are very nice people.

Amazing 3 day hiking experience with my brother this past week. We hiked early in the morning due to the heat and there were very few hikers on the trails. Auxier Ridge, Indian staircase and Cloud Splitter were the highlights.

Great place for hiking! I did the loop that encompasses Double Arch, Courthouse Rock, and Auxier Ridge. It was a beautiful spring weekend and there were quite a few people out, but not crowded. I heard the restrooms were in rough shape so I didn’t use them.
