Nice place to get in or out of the Salmon River. Also, a nice place to be eaten alive by bugs. Bring your sprays, or lose a lot of blood to them skeeters.

Very nice campground, lots of spaces to back in but some kind of narrow, you have to be a dead on backer upper! 😉 Nice quiet place to boondock. Space between sites.

Would have given this 5 stars for scenery, and proximity to the river, but bugs are bad! Pretty much just a rest area type spot, but is a designated camping area. covered picnic table and viewing telescope for viewing bighorn sheep. No firepit where we were, but cooked on our grill and had a great evening, keep your rv doors closed or you’ll have a trailer full of bugs!
