Small (4-5 spots) free campground in Plumas, just south of east Quincy. Beautiful place but there was trash left behind by previous occupants. Seems like a nice spot for locals, several groups brought trucks down to the river and hung out with music. That being said, if you’re looking for a quiet, remote spot, this isn’t it.

Free camping on the middle fork of the feather river. Maintained sometimes by plumas national forest. Two campgrounds, one above the bridge for larger rigs, one below on the river for smaller rigs (walk it first). Both places have a pit toilet with no trash or water ( nearby spring taste great). Great fishing, small minimal gold, decent swimming areas with a few cliff jumps when the water level is high.

Ok campsite right off of the road. Only 4 campsites and no trash service, but there is a vault toilet that is pretty clean.

Can’t go wrong here. The middle fork is a remote, wild and scenic river. It’s a very special place.
