Customer Reviews
I recently stayed two nights at the campground for Redcrest Resort. Aimee was a highlight of my trip, and such an amazing human being. She provided so much information on how to get the best Redwood experience, and the best places to visit and dine. She was so loving and helpful and it really showed she knew the area and the history. The campground was awesome as I had the entire place to myself, and the bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. I highly recommend that you stay at the Redcrest Resort when visiting the California Redwoods, it will be a memorable highlight moment for your trip, and I will definitely be staying here again when I visit!
It felt like going to Grandma's house. I would be happy to stay for a week. It's clean with a full kitchen, cable TV and comfy beds. I only needed hand soap in the bathroom and full size coffee filters.
This is a charming place, right out of the 50's, if you must have wi-fi, big screen TV's, a fancy restaurant, or a restaurant at all, this might not be for you. But for a couple of Nashvillan's driving the Pacific Coast Hwy during off season and needing a room for the night this was a wonderful find. Clean, comfortable, and amazingly well kept grounds, coudo's to the owners.
No Wi-Fi, no AC…. Lied about services offered and when we said we wouldn’t be staying the owner refused a refund when we never used the cabin. Beautiful area but will never stop again, gift store across the street had sweet people working and cheaper prices. Just up the road is better choices with food stores closer than 30 mins.
Didnt stay at resort we are locals from Eureka 40 minutes north. But ALWAYS stop at the gift shop. This is an awesome gift shop located on the redwood scenic highway of Avenue of the Giants. Kids always want to stop. Great misc items of all kinds, Handmade items made from redwood and tons of misc other items. Sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats and so much more. A must stop in Redcrest on your journey through the redwoods here in Humboldt County.
