I discovered this beautiful and unique park on my way back from Oregon. It’s close to Crescent City, and very quiet and peaceful. I stayed in one of the studio apartments, and it was immaculate, and it looked like it was built yesterday. Everything looked brand-new, and the room was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and attentive. It’s definitely coming back for the Yurt!
Wonderful gem in the redwoods. Great service. Easy pull in spots. Worked great for late check in. Great WiFi. Feels like a forest dream. Seems popular for longer stay trailers which were incredible looking. Good walks for dogs. Clean bathrooms. Friendly.
We rented Studio 1 at this location. First of all, you are in the heart of the Redwoods. Spectacular location. This resort has a new owner which we have stayed at another property that he owns in Oregon. If you have an RV or trailer, they have great hookups and spots to park. He is planning on making renovations and updates throughout the park. Just give him time. He (Josh) was very accommodating and helpful. We have two small dogs and they loved it too.
My husband and I stayed at the park in an emergency as our truck was unable to safely pull our trailer. We were allowed the site of our choice, which was easy and comfortable and cool. On top of that, when my husband asked the owner if he knew of a local service in the area that could help him check out his truck, or possibly even follow him while he test drove it, the owner immediately volunteered himself to help him! He was ready immediately and followed my husband while he test-drove his truck for 10 to 15 minutes! To top that off, he refused a tip! We started out in a bad situation for our trip (the rest of which had to be canceled) but this part will always be memorable. We highly recommend Redwood Meadows!
What a gem! From being greeted at check-in to the day we departed I found nothing negative! Our campsite was level and shaded by a large tree. The showers were spotless, the water pressure was great, and water temps were hot and consistent. There's a "large" completely fenced dog area that both of our Doodles give a paws up! Want to play pickleball ... they have a court. I shopped at the well stocked small market at the turn off and directly across the road is a wonderful breakfast/lunch spot, the Hiouchi Cafe. After visiting many RV resorts that are basically an asphalt/concrete parking lot, Redwood Meadows is a welcomed surprise!
