Wonderful park to stay at! Clean! Safe! View right on the ocean by South Beach! The hosts were beyond kind and accommodating! My husband is on crutches and easy for him to get around, use bathrooms and showers which are clean and free showers! (You get the code for bathrooms with your reservation). We will stay again
Redwood Harbor Village is where the former Redwoods RV Resort was located. There is new ownership, no full-timers by the ocean and an on-site manager to take care of business. I spoke to Gabriel when I called yesterday about the park and Gabriel was so nice and positive that we decided to drive down and take a look. We met Mike, the on-site manager. He really is doing a great job getting the park changed over and cleaning it up. The park has rest rooms/showers as far as amenities. The reason you go is for the gorgeous beach in walking distance and Redwood National and State Park nearby. The sites are narrow if you have slides but they are more than willing to work with you. All sites have full service and 30 amp electric plus some sites have 50 amp. I definitely recommend Redwood Harbor Village. It's great place to stay if you want to enjoy the Northern California coast and beach, as well as, Redwoods National and State Park.
We read the reviews and were a little apprehensive about spending the night, but we figured we would give it a try. Well, that was a mistake. It turns out the bike bandits still patrol the place, looking for expensive bikes to steal. They took the Treks and left the kids' bikes, which I guess was ok in a way. At least the boys can still peddle around, but not here. We're getting out of here before darkness returns.
Beautiful place to stay. Restaurants in area are also amazing. Sea lions right down the street.
We had a nice stay at the oceanfront RV park. It's walkable to the beach.
