We just stayed at the hotel for the last two night and overall had a fantastic experience. What made it even more special was the above and beyond customer service provided by Tim at front desk. From the moment we were greeted at check in ….. and throughout our stay Tim was exceptionally amazing at making sure we were 100% satisfied with our stay. From offering his own recommendations for places to visit to making sure our room was up to our standard he did it all. We travel all the time and to receive such exceptional customer service from one individual made us feel very welcome and we will definitely be returning for another visit! Thank you for all you did Tim ! 5 star service for sure!! And we loved and appreciated everything you did and the room of course!
I stayed here a week ago on my birthday. The location is South Myrtle beach which my friends warned me not to stay South but North. While this hotel is a decent hotel, it sits near some rough patches on the strip. Traveling along this would not have been my choice. The service is just ok. The room was really nice but it is aging. In the previous comments I reviewed are correct regarding the sand in the hallways etc. This hotel needs to step up its cleaning game. ALSO the breakfast is standard Marriott breakfast. My first night here, there was a fire alarm that woke me up and it was horrible. It went on about 30 minutes or so. I requested a discount for that day only and received nothing. Horrible. If I had to stay here again, the answer is a stern NO for me.
The best Residence Inn we ever stayed at. The day we got there they gave us a tour of the hotel. All the staff were very professionnal and pleasant. They even have a nice bar to relax at night. We had a room overlooking the ocean. We were able to relax on our balcony as the weather was great in December. The room was very big, felt like we were in a condo. Will definitely return. Do we recommend? ABSOLUTELY!
Awful. Dirtiest room I have ever been to and we travel a lot. Housekeepers NEED PROPER TRAINING. poop on toilet Pubic hairs everywhere on mattresses. Crumbs all over. Our she’s and socks are black just from walking on nasty floor. Called three times to have room recleaned and NO ONE EVER SAID SORRY ONCE! the fridge was disgusting. I could go on. Got a refund went to surf side hotel. Top tier service.
We stayed there last week and this was our second time coming to this Hotel. This is when the snowstorm hit which didn’t allow us to get out for a few days to enjoy ourselves. We had to go down to get towels because room service staff couldn’t make it in. It wasn’t a great stay this time. We felt we should have been given a discount considering the factors involved but wasn’t.Also they waited till today to take my money from my account. Owner doesn’t care, he makes his money. We won’t be back that’s for sure.
