Residence Inn Providence Coventry

This hotel is very pretty but the service is a hit or miss. When I arrived, I was told I would get light service every other day and full service for cleaning every third day. They never came on the second day and one employee told me they didn't do full third day cleanings despite there being a paper I received with that information. I had to go to a different employee to ask that seemed to know more. The other employee was so sweet and was able to get what I needed very promptly. I was so appreciative of her. Part of what I had requested was sufficient towels for three people since they only had two body towels in for a room for three people, and we had made due with smaller towels while we waited for them to replenish the amenities on the third day. The cleaning people pettily put a sign to conserve towels next to where the towels had been replaced after I had already informed the front desk that we had made due with smaller towels since they had not provided sufficient towels in the first place. We only received service once in the entire week stay and had to often go to the front desk to ask for toilet paper since the cleaning people did not stick to the schedule provided upon check in. Another downside is that the Wi-Fi sucked. It did not work in the entirety of my stay. It would say connected but nothing would load anywhere unless I turned the Wi-Fi off. Thank goodness for data on my phone! The location itself is very centric and there is a Walmart right across the street too! Stunning hotel, but they need to get on the same page about the overall service provided.

Nice, clean facility with decent amenities and attentive staff! The staff handled all minor issues quickly and with ease. The location itself is in a decent area with access to grocery stores and eateries. Overall, great experience as expected! Highly recommended!

Stayed at this hotel while attending a wedding in providence. This is 20mins south of providence - so the city is easily accessible with a car. There is a super walmart, applebees, mcdonalds, wendy's, firestone tire, home depot, cracker barrel and an automatic car wash very close by. The hot tub was nice (see picture). It is in the same area as the pool. The gym was serviceable (see pictures). They had dumbbells up to 75lbs. 3 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 peloton, a pulley station, a trx band and pullup station, 2 bosu balls, kettlebells up to 30lbs, a 30" x 24" box, 3 foam rollers, a bench and a mat. Serviceable. I wish there was at least one more peloton bike. Breakfast at the hotel was decent. No skim milk - only 2% and almond(?). No greek yogurt either...but you can go to walmart and get your own skim milk and greek yogurt keep them in your fridge. The rooms have microwaves. The shower pressure on the 3rd floor left something to be desired. The staff were nice.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The room was incredibly spacious, the breakfast was delicious and we had fun in the lobby that night playing games with our cousins. If we are back up in the area, we will definitely stay here!
