Beautiful campground. Clean spots, Nice firepits. Clean pit toilets and camper services building (showers, flush toilets, laundry). Smooth paved road and spots. Great trails - be ready for the hills and 9800 feet elevation.
A nice place for camping. Great amenities (for a camp site). Great hiking territory.
This is an okay campground however not sure why pay so much if more than half of the amenities are going to be closed/unavailable. I booked this site with the intention of using the bathroom & kitchen sink yet that was not possible. They were closed the entire time. Had to drive 15-20 to the nearest gas station each time I wanted to use a bathroom or wash dishes. They never offered an explanation as to why bathrooms were unavailable or even a partial refund. The water spigots had no water, I even looked up their website to make sure water was available which it said it was. Just to find out that was not the case, thankfully I did bring some water but not enough for my entire stay. The host was nowhere to be found & the front booth was always empty. They have the nerve to charge $36 a night but all you get is a small site that won’t even fit a tent properly & zero amenities. You are better off just going to a BLM & saving your money for food & other items. Never again.
Beautiful campground! Well maintained and clean. Pull-thru RV sites offered buffer of trees to help offer privacy/cut down on passing vehicles. Would definitely camp there again. Would have given at 5 stars, if the coin showers offered hot water after a very cold night.
We arrived at the end of May & it snowed had least 2''. It's beautiful well maintained park. Very clean showers/bathrooms. We'll definitely be back.
We had a very relaxing 5 days there had a great time
