It is worth the hike to see the beautiful lake. The lake is about 2 miles from the parking lot. You have to go uphill a bit near Artist Point, but most of the hike is pretty easy and level. We saw a lot of chipmunks and squirrels along the way, a garter snake, blue heron and ospreys fishing on the lake, frogs, trout, and a bunch of other birds. A really cool little hike you can easily do in half a day.

Nice hike to here. You start uphill with great views of the canyon and then through the forest you reach the camping at ribbon lake. The lake is small but quiet and peaceful.

Very good trail to Ribbon Lake. It does not require too much physical demand since it is mostly flat but it does have narrow sections at the edge of the canyon. You can see several types of squirrels along the way.
