We loved this clean little campground. The hosts, and the camp dog, Izzy, were great. We ordered food from their camp store (which included a doggy menu) & all of it was really good! They have a nice nature trail & beautiful pond. It is a very well kept campground. There is a bit of highway noise, but not the worst we’ve been to. Our site was at the back near the dog park.
We stopped here for one night in October while on a trip from Oregon to Maine. This KOA was super clean and we loved the heated bathrooms! It was almost dark when we arrived but we were able to walk our dogs on the nature path the next morning. I enjoyed the fountain in the park since it really lit up the place! The menu from the breakfast that was served looked really good along with the pizza that was offered but those items weren't being served while we were there. I would stay here again if the opportunity arose.
One of the nicest KOA's we stayed with. Very clean, very nice people and a beautiful setting. We were provided with a menu prior to and upon arrival. It was nice to be able to order something after traveling and not have to fix it ourselves. We ordered, the meal was brought out to our camper AND the food was very good! There is highway noise because they are next to the freeway, but nothing our fan couldn't cover up. Nice overnight stay and would be happy to stay longer.
We arrived after 6:00, and did a walk in registration. After getting parked, we went to get a pizza at the snack bar. We found out that the snack bar was closed. The campground personal were having a BBQ, celebrating a birthday. They asked if we would like to join them, which we graciously accepted. The people were very inviting and welcomed us like we were friends. It was very comforting, after driving all day to get there. This made for a very pleasant experience.
The cabin we had was cozy and basic-what we wanted. The staff was fantastic and very customer focused and they treated us as if we were the only people there. We could hear sounds from I70, but this was overlooked as it didn't disrupt our conversations and we fell asleep quickly.
