The rooms are actually sheds made into "rooms" the only door inside that closes is the bathroom door, doesn't lock, no bedrooms, just bunks. For over $200 a night it's just not worth it. The mini fridge turned into a freezer. It was a basic minus any privacy for more than one person you can get. As far as service, I never saw anyone who worked there outside of the General store, they were nice people there. The scenery was gorgeous outside and the ATV trails were nice. For glorified camping it was too expensive, if you have your own RV, it is nice! Fire pits, electrical and water hook ups, grills, etc.

I was overly impressed with every aspect of the campground. The site layout was wonderful, adequate space and privacy, various scenery, my favorite part of the trip was sitting on the porch with my friend enjoying a peaceful evening. Also appreciate the variety of places to rent, pretty much can meet any possible need. And very affordable. The quality and cleanliness was very remarkable. It takes a great deal of conscious effort to maintain facilities to that caliber. Keep up the great work and see you all again soon!

Rv slips are small. You will get to know your neighbors VERY well. Be careful if you have a big rig. Bring LOTS of quarters if you need to do some laundry because the office can’t make that much change for you. Overall it is a great place to stay.

We stayed in redneck 14 and the veil was incredible. The house was great and was clean. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was nice and made the experience even better.

Beautiful location, beautiful scenery. Easy access to all the trails. I stayed in one of the cabins and it was more than comfortable and had all the necessities if you were to cook in every night. The campground Wi-Fi can be a little sketchy. Moreover, your cellular and cellular Internet is of the same, you're in a remote location. In my books, I got fair value and enjoyed every minute of my time there.

We stayed in Hoot Owl 16 Memorial Day weekend. They let us check in early for a small fee. The cabin was clean and ready for our stay. The bed was super comfortable for my wife and I. The staff was on point and answered any questions we had. They provided hot dogs and the condiments for its customers which was a nice lunch. The park itself was clean and nice. I’d definitely recommend this park if you’re looking for place to stay and ride your quads, SxS’s, or dirt bikes.

Stayed at Patriots Peak. For all that have not stayed in a ATV park some of the cabins are small, it is expected.. Our group was 4 adults, there was ample space for normal taking turns for the shower and bath. If your trip is planned with good weather the outside porch is great, if your looking for inside comfort rent a larger unit. The staff, the store and the stay was awesome. 4x4 tow vehicle is a must if you stay at this cabin.

The campground was nice. The bathrooms were clean. The trails were not marked. My husband and I are in our 60s. We go riding at Badlands and have no trouble we were looking so forward our vacation at Ride Royal blue I was so disappointed I will never come back we went out following the map and got lost finally half the day gone. We made it back so we went and rented a tablet. The tablet wasn’t charged up when we got it so after a hour i’m trying to get to the waterfall following the directions on the tablet. It went dead so once again we were lost. We went back to our motorhome and charged it up and took it back the next day. They wouldn’t even offer me any kind of a discount, I would never rent it again because it doesn’t work very well so scratched up you can hardly see the screen. We went out on our own and met up with some people, our age and we rode with them. Three of them had tablets we’re still trying to make it to the waterfall and this did not take us directly to the waterfall. We kept getting lost and three different people had these tablets. These trails are not marked on the way back after riding with them. My husband and I got separated from them and got lost my husband Machine started running bad because the conditions of the trails are so deep going in and out of mud I was covered. I was in tears most of the time because it was getting dark and we were lost and no cell service. This is the most terrifying trip I’ve ever been on. I felt devastated abandoned. There’s no way I could’ve walked out of there. If the machine broke down anyone else that goes there please be careful. It is a dangerous place. You get lost out there. You’re on your own.

Well I hate to leave a bad review but I wish I had been aware of this prior. Our cabin had COCKROACHES. The cabins are actually just sheds with a wood floor sitting in the dirt. I imagine there’s a whole other ecosystem living beneath. There was an over bearing air freshener in the shed presumably to cover the bad smell. The insides of them were pretty clean. Bathroom was ehhh. Another thing is that the linens provided are brown so you know they aren’t getting bleached and disinfected which is pretty gross. The cockroaches were brought to their attention. They came out and put poison in our shed and the other empty sheds right away. Offered a different one but I said all our stuff is getting burned because I won’t bring cockroach eggs into my home so it didn’t matter. This was the hillybilly cabins. Also if you plan to relax at all after your ride they have a pressure washer that is running nonstop. On Monday when we were done with our ride we went to the store. It was closed because not many people were there still but supposed to be open. Trails were great. Lots of drinking on the trails with all the litter and piles of toilet paper everywhere. Not the kind of trails where you wanna come across a drunk driver as they are challenging and narrow. I’d opt for another park that doesn’t allow drinking personally. The draw in was the 600 miles of trails. But that 600 miles includes all trails with connector routes and other parks trails. This riding area has just over 100 miles of marked trails. With the other parking areas and places to camp I definitely wouldn’t come again. Royal Blue holds their guests to a high standard with all the fee signage if you don’t do this or that. Well, they need to be held to a high standard as well with the astronomical cost of staying in a garden shed.
