We just happen to find this place on the spur-of-the-moment kind of deal. I decided 2 weeks before that we were gonna finally go camping and we were actually able to get a site on labor day weekend. The owners were fantastic!!! They had activities for the kids each day this weekend. The swimming pond was great, playground was clean and they even had yard. There was a little something for everyone. We will definitely be back. Wish I would have found this place earlier.
HALLOWEEN!!!! Just went thru their HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL. We were a group of 7, ranging 9 years to 62. The "haunted trail is 7/10th of a mile. I found the trail to be very walkable. It can scary for those below 10 years old. It's near Mora, MN.
This was our first time at this campground and I have to say it was nice. The grounds were clean and the staff was friendly. We did not use the ponds nor the playground but we could see the playground from our site and it looked nice. It was quiet and peaceful. The only issue from what I read from other people is the water. Yes, its brown/orange but we used a water filter so it wasn't that bad. Sounds like they are trying to get it so they have better water in the future. I do recommend this campground and we will be going again.
Awesome campground. Lots of activities for kids. Definitely a "family" oriented campground. Dog friendly. Pond is great for swimming. Very good playground. Owners are very nice. Lots of new and great things happening, with what appears to be fore thought and planning behind it. I think it will become one of the best campgrounds around. Can't wait to go back!
She not your friendly owner. She is more involved in her haunted house than her camper we will never go back. 815 pm she told us we had to turn our music down. Then she had enough guts to tell my niece that I haven’t paid her, when I had paid her on the day, I booked the two sites very rude. Stick with a haunted house. She will probably do better there because your management skills are horrible.😡😡
